My beloved jet airliners only start playing being bad boys after engine failure, and even so with the modern laws of the FBW not even that much, unless other systems go wonky 🙂 That's why I stopped in the gliders and the others fly only as a PAX or a simmer 🙂 And there are even guys who feel safe flying choppers.... "rudder trim operation is controlled by a switch located on the Engine Power Control Lever." let us know if SWS have implemented it correctly (I don't own it yet) . must be hard to find in the sim. probably easier in VR. December 6, 20232 yr This could be the most disappointing launch day for me since the Twotter. December 6, 20232 yr Yeah...this really isn't it. Absolutely uncontrollable on the ground, starting at about 60 KIAS on takeoff roll and immediately after landing. Just absolutely no directional control using my rudder pedals. Takes a humongous amount of rudder deflection to keep the slip indicator centered. TDS GTNXi not showing up. No lateral FMA indications other than "ROL". HSI needles going haywire, bouncing all over the place. Takes an almost Fenix-like toll on FPS on my end. There are some initial teething issues but they're quite receptive to the items. They already issued a TDS hotfix that is working. I have high confidence that SWS will address everything! As for rudder input yeah imo something is going on. For departure don't forget YD engaged as that helps with some of the heavy rudder input. But I'm still having an issue in level flight where the ball indicates I'm in a slip. | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |
