June 15, 20241 yr Manually syncing time didn't have any effect for me on my Win11 kit. I fired up Windows Store this afternoon, headed to Apps and got all the pending updates. Lots of them, many with no particular relation to MSFS. I tend to do this just before an MSFS app update but thought I'd give it a go for this issue. Thereafter all good! My hunch is that there was one or more interdependencies between some modules that had got out of step with each other. Or maybe someone just fixed things server side. Same here. i have had this issue three times in the past week, and none in the almost four years since release. Way too many enthusasts reporting this in the past week to ten days for it to be an individual issue on every one of the affected systems. I am simply closing MSFS from Task Manager and restarting. It has restarted just fine each time other than greeting me with the Safe or Normal boot dialog. I just start normally. Late yesterday I logged out of both the xBox app and the MS Store app and logged back in to both. Have only flown twice since then so too early make any claims or suggestions. June 16, 20241 yr This morning both MSFS pc’s are hanging on the Checking for Updates screen.
