Looks excellent but seriously - egg and chips on the plate? Interior detail is going through the roof and I understand the artistic aspect of it for the developers but I do see a performance hit with these fully fleshed out interiors. I've genuinely never seen the need for this extra detail outside of what you can see through windows from airside. I know some people love this stuff though.

Next generation flight simulator requires next generation graphics in all departments as far as I am concerned.....and that includes 3D interiors. I did not upgrade from P3Dv4 for 2D parallax interiors and blackout blinds.

Doesn't need to be parallax interiors, 3D is great and can look convincing but a real pilot isn't going to see what is sitting on someone's plate in a restaurant from the cockpit. Maybe it's just me.

Oh, I agree with you about the plate of egg and chips. I would want baked beans with it aswell

I will buy it for sure, Im collecting every UK airport released and its my most fleshed out area. Some of the airports I bought I never landed on, but I love the idea to fly over them and it looks good, rather than overfly default airports wich break my immersion. Yes Im weird:p

You're certainly not weird as I bet you've just described those who are very much serious flight simmers, who generally crave immersion.

This will be good for when the Fokker 100 comes out!

Yes, I’m the same , I’ve got many airports I’ve never actually been into yet, but I fly spontaneously and like knowing they are there should I decide to drop in one day rather arriving at a generic field.

I’ll probably buy it to support Flytampa and have a nicely modelled regional airport but it is a rather random choice. The only scheduled stuff of any note is KLM’s daily Amsterdam connection.

I’m delighted to learn about this release as I do use the airport in my sims, (uk2000) and have flown in quite a lot as a young PPL.

ATC there suffered from what I’d call little airport syndrome, they’d have me orbiting my C152 downwind for 10 minutes because they had a commercial movement inbound…an Air U.K. F27 about 20 miles out which was given absolute priority.

The airport has an ILS, and used to have an NDB procedure, it’s a short VFR hop to pick up the Humber river for a scenic flight up the coast. There’s a search and rescue helicopter based there too, it often comes out over my house in the Peak District to pick up some stricken walker.

It’s a well placed little bolt hole now that Doncaster is shut down, although that looks like that is to be reopened again soon.

Great choice, as LON_N_CTR is well scheduled on VATSIM an sees plenty of ATC.
Will buy for sure!
