PMDG 777 Released

I have always selected the departure runway and built the flightplan before adding the v speeds. Isn't that the normal way to do it? I just followed the procedure in Tutorial #1 for the 777 and the 737 way back when I first started using them.

Was my fault, used too much to a320/a330 fmc. Watching some tutorials on youtube and reading official pmdg one, been able to finish my first "medium range" flight limf/eddf.

Next step will be to learn RNP approaches and how to edit/delete waypoints in flighplan manually.

P.S.

Anyone getting freezes while using fmc during flight sometimes?

Is anyone else finding the Simbrief PMDG 777 profile a bit light on the gas? I see it’s P01 but I’m regularly having to tweak it up or carry discretionary fuel.

Cheers

I would like to know this too...

Has anyone tried this - https://flightsim.to/file/77240/pmdg-777-lights-optimization-more-fps

Yes, I gained around 10-12 FPS/FG so probably 5-7 "real" FPS, at least at FB KSFO with my 13900k/4090

I cant tell a difference lighting wise, Mathijs said it breaks things like cabin lighting and makes things look weird but TBH it does what it says and I have had no issues from it, Also makes the cockpit look better IMO

Does that gain only at night when lights are used, or fps increase noticeable during the day too?

Did they include the ability to show the CDU on a tablet alla FBW A320

As in P3D that is made available by a wonderful add-on called Aviaserver by Aviaworx. Cost is 10 euros/11.50 USD. On my system, at least, it operates more smoothly and with less lag than does the native Fenix version.

Are there any plans for the cargo version releasing soon, or is this more a late-autumn-early-winter release?

Knowing their and other "High Fidelity" developers track records I would not expect it until Fall at the earliest.

So far I am satisfied with my purchase.

Very good performance, in my mid/low end rig not inferior to that of the 737-700, and above all the tests I ran to the C*u implementation were rather satisfactory!

People are complaining about sounds... some others talk about the graphics in the cockpit, but honestly they look more than simply good to me.

This is the kind of aircraft I should be using in long hauls, but that's no option for me so, I will rather use it for short hops and enjoy as much as I can, manually flying approaches from the IAF down (weather permitting...).

Main Simulation Rig:

Ryzen 5600x, 32GB RAM, Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti, 1 TB & 500 GB M.2 nvme drives, Win11.

Lenovo TB310FU 9,5" Tablet for Navigraph and some available external FMCs or AVITABs
