June 26, 20241 yr Sounds like the aircraft is a success overall, good to hear. I'll wait a few weeks to pick up as I'm too busy for long hauls at the moment, by then any needed updates will have been pushed and things will be smoother. I hope everyone enjoys their flying over the next few days and at the weekend! June 26, 20241 yr I just installed it, and hand flew a quick circuit. It worked perfectly. felt the same as it does in P3D, albeit it felt huge and heavy, as the last couple of weeks I've just been flying GA planes I bought in the marketplace sale. The turning when taxiing works properly, so hopefully they can sort this in the 737 now, as it is a pain having to use differential brakes as well as turning the tiller for tight turns in the 737. June 26, 20241 yr 320 Sim Pilot is one of the few IRL pilots and simmer personalities I love to watch, for his insightful and unbiased/no-nonsense reviews... I didn't realize he is 777 and 787 rated now. A great initial review based on the pre-release version, and like V1-Simulations and Into the Blue Simulations he loves it, one of his final quotes is how he loved the plane's "amazing, amazing handling". RSR aside, PMDG looks to have a winner here right out of the gate.. and if their major problem on release was how their e-commerce providers who scaled up the systems to handle 7x the sales of 737 still couldn't keep up with demand in the initial minutes (20 sales per second for over 4 minutes!!), ya that's a darn good problem to have. Gonna grab this once I get some sim time on my hands in a couple of weeks, hopefully will be even smoother flying with any new major bugs ironed out 🙂 Let the high fidelity widebody/long-haul era of MSFS begin, and bring on the FBW A380, iniBuilds A350, etc! June 26, 20241 yr 1940 77W on Volanta right now - Of course I can't see if they are all PMDG MSFS but gives you an idea. I mean it‘s alway the same: People (me including) complain and complain and make fun, but in the end PMDG just deliver a high-quality, almost bug free, well performing study level aircraft. The only time they really failed was when they released that useless UFT for the 737. Even that is now more useful on the 777 with the control of doors etc. For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. However, I do not get paid for it in any way.
June 26, 20241 yr I noticed on 320 Sim Pilots stream that the white border around the PFD was back. I couldn’t stand when we had that issue before and I’m hoping that’s somehow an option that’s turned on? It’s weird, I haven’t seen it since a few sim updates ago and my mouth dropped when I just saw it.
