Hi,

Not complete here (Valencia, Spain), just I've downloaded the two initial updates:

  • 307 MB Installation Manager on MSFS start
  • 1,17GB Update WU III - Content Manager

Not the big one...

Anyone with the same issue?

Regards

Did you forget that World Updates need to be "bought" in the Marketplace?

Not everyone installs every world update, so it can be someting you only do once or twice a year. I'm at a certain age where I sometimes forget how to do unimportant things I only do every 6-12 months

  • I keep crossing my thumbs for people finally remembering this for good. After all it's only been the 17th one... 😁

  • My house looks like my house now and not a random town house as it was previously, right down to the recycling bin in the front yard and trampoline in the back garden which we got rid of 3 years ago b

It's an optional update via the ingame Marketplace, so you need to actively "get and download" it there. (Or did you...?)

Yes, two Tamar Bridges so Orbx GB South has to go for now.

(Very) first impressions: I deleted the lackluster Sumburgh (EGPB) airport from OrbX (cheap FSX-port), only to find the WUXVII bespoke one even more lackluster. On the other hand, Edinburgh photogrammetry (TIN?) is fantastic! EGPH v2 from Pyreeque would need some color correction, but I'm sure that will happen pretty fast. Edit: And London seems to have improved vastly!

Did they do the old Severn crossing as well?

Shame if they didn't - they come as a pair really 🤔

New PC Ryzen 9850X3D - 32gb ddr5 6000Mhz - MSI MAG B850 Tomahawk wifi - Gigabyte wind force gaming OC 5090 - 2TB Sabrent NVMe. Old PC - Ryzen 5900x - 32gb 3600Mhz RAM - Asus Strix X570-F Motherboard - ASUS TUF OC RTX 3090 - 1TB Sabrent NVMe. AOC AGON 32" 144Hz - Honeycomb Yoke - Thrustmaster HOTAS Warthog. T Flight Rudder Pedals - Trackir.

Looking forward to a better London.

Deffo interested to sample the airports, but they're awful big and none of them are the biggest sites.

Hard to see how the Inibuilds Farnborough at 3x the storage is 3x better than Burning Blue's.

My Sumburgh is 93kb. I was going to let it rot, but I think I'll push it up to a heady 100-150mb eventually.

I tried and you lose a lot. There are some obvious clashes but some obvious omissions too.  I've decided to put it back and hope Orbx releases a compatibility patch soon.

Maybe because I use the Google Maps option instead of Bing in the hopes of getting TIN coverage that is not present in Bing. And that didn't work.

Aha.  That probably explains it.  I will test initially without the Bing maps/enhancer and then try with the enhancer at a later time.

I've done London and that looks great with photogrammetry right out to Windsor.  A big part of Bristol has now been done including Portishead, Avonmouth and the North and South of the city (I can even see my house and my car on the drive now).

A quick look at Cardiff and the airport looks excellent with photogrammetry going out to Barry Island and including the fairground.

Off to take a look at Scotland now, before testing Leeds and Bradford and eventually off to Ireland. Edit - Glasgow and Edinburgh look great.

Very impressed so far, though I did not like the look of Farnborough at first glance and will take a closer look later.

Are you not getting big sandbanks around every bridge in London? It looks terrible to me.
