I have 400 Mbps internet speed plan and the Premium edition.

Wow! I wish I had one like that. 😉

Not everyone installs every world update, so it can be someting you only do once or twice a year. I'm at a certain age where I sometimes forget how to do unimportant things I only do every 6-12 months

  • I keep crossing my thumbs for people finally remembering this for good. After all it's only been the 17th one... 😁

  • My house looks like my house now and not a random town house as it was previously, right down to the recycling bin in the front yard and trampoline in the back garden which we got rid of 3 years ago b

Anyone else have weird elevation issues at EGPB?

I do, yes. Some really high spikes with a radar dome on top on one side of the airport and some rectangular indentations in the water around the airport, among others. I made sure I deactivated all the orbx stuff that I have, including the GB mesh package, but that did not make a difference. These anomalies appeared after installing the latest world update and disappear when I uninstall it.

thought I was the only one with this issue.

I owned Cardiff EGFF by UK2000 purchased in the marketplace, here is how I undid the Asobo Cardiff so that I could still use the UK2000 version:

Content Manager, type "Cardiff" in search bar, CLICK ON THE 3 BARS ICON, now it lists two Cardiffs:

EFFF CARDIFF by UK2000 and EGFF by Microsoft.

I can now click on either one of those two and then delete it, leaving the other one installed.

So, I now have a choice to use either one or both at the same time.

(You have to click the 3 bar icon to see the MS Asobo version of Cardiff EGFF in content manager)

This method also works for an airport purchased out of marketplace and in community. If you leave an airport in community before booting up MSFS, it will show up in the content manager listed as Community Cardiff.

Wow!  That seems expensive. Is that due to your location in the USA?  I just signed up for BT Fibre 500, converting pounds to dollars it is bout half that much.

I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio.

I keep the UK2000 version of EGFF because payware is always better than the Microsoft Asobo bespoke airports. But the Asobo versions are nice too.

Xfinity lists internet plans cheaper. But there are government cable fees which makes it actually come to $69 a month.

In a few instances I liked a WU version better and I have disabled the payware addon I had earlier but most of the time the payware addons are better. Sometimes not by much though.

The moment you use the Map Addon you lose all photogrammetry.

I don't think that is correct.  Photogrammetry lays over the top of base satellite imagery.
