July 24, 20241 yr On the subject of trees, I spent several hours expunging my local area of the amazonian forests that don't exist in reality only to find that they've all returned with this update. Does this mean I have to do it all again?
July 24, 20241 yr Forgot to say, I thought Sumburgh looked pretty good to me with the exception of 3 large airliners parked up! Hopefully that is something they can fix. Ryzen 9800X3D, RTX 5090, 64GB, Win 11. MSFS2020. Moza, MFG, Fulcrum & Virpil controllers. Quest 3 for VR.
July 24, 20241 yr Anyone else have areas along the Thames that have flat satellite imagery with no PG or Autogen? Mainly on the way out to Heathrow! I only have Orbx scenery installed from Marketplace with an empty Community folder and not using any mesh or map mod.

July 24, 20241 yr Does the WU Updates also have an effect when you are using the Map Enhancement App?
July 24, 20241 yr This update has significantly improved overall experience, especially now in London area - the ground textures and buildings looks reasonable compared to previously where it was quite weird. Flying VFR is now a lot fun then before.

It drops into community and so MSFS cannot update it away, like it can for stuff in official. 5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel. Hopefully, this kind of thing will be all behind us once we have all moved over to FS2024 later this year. The update does have quite a number of flaws, but the pros far outweigh the cons in my view. Judging by the amount of time I am spending with it, it seems like the best update yet (though the UK is where I live, so I guess I'm a bit biased). July 24, 20241 yr The only real embarassing thing is that Asobo obviously saw a need to polish up the trailer. Comparing London Thames to the trailer is remarkably different. Did they learn nothing from the watermask disaster? Greetings, Chris AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D, 2x32GB DDR5 6000MT/s RAM, MSI RTX 4090 Ventus 3X, Windows 11 Home, MSFS2024

I uninstalled Orbx sceneries and the PG appeared for those areas so it’s a conflict. Too bad, those are the only conflicts I have seen so hopefully Orbx will update their scenery. I do prefer flying with the Orbx sceneries installed.
