Cdkeys are now accepting registration for orders at nice discounts for MSFS 2024.

I will pick up the Aviator for this short of $161.00 US.

I got MSFS 2020 from them when it came out. Also at a good discount at the time.

I order other games from CDKeys all the time; most recently, Star Wars Outlaws.  They all register just fine on Steam (or Ubisoft).

Yes in that they are not pirating games and selling them.

No in that you don't know for sure the code will work. If they buy a block of keys from an unscrupulous reseller who sells that same block of keys to some other key reseller, you are now in a race against the customers of that other company to get your copy registered before one of them does it.

Well, I looked at that. Granted I am in Canada but the The CDKeys website list the Aviator edition at CAD$368 but you get a 20% discount so its yours for CAD$294.

Hold on a minute the regular price to pre-order on Steam is CAD$260.

SCAM!

Yes, there are certainly no savings to be had for purchasers in Canada. It is considerably cheaper to get it directly from MS.

I've used CDKeys for years with no issues, 20% off is a decent saving for UK users at least.

How is that a scam? They're giving you a price, if you don't like it then don't pay it.

Used them for years, unless an item is on sale (on Steam) then they are usually far cheaper. Never once had a bad key from them on any platform.

Will certainly look at them for MSFS24.

It costs more than on Steam... why?

Also the aviator edition is 800 AED (200 €), not 161 $ as mentioned by OP...

Myself, and 2 of my sons have used  Cdkeys for many years, and have never ever gotten a bad key on anything that we have bought from them. For those of you that have doubt, you can buy from Microsoft, or Steam. It's your call.

By the way, the keys for the US discount is for Microsoft Store version.

When I bought the original MSFS 2020 from them, I thought it was for Steam. When I received the key for MSFS 2020 I went directly to Steam. The key did not work. I e-mailed them that the key did not work on Steam.

They immediately e-mailed me back, telling me that the key was not for Steam, but for Microsoft Store. I went to the Microsoft store, used the key there, and it worked.

Until that happened, all of the keys that I had bought from them previously, was always for Steam. Now, if I had thought about it at the time, I would have figured that the key was not for Steam, because when I bought the key from them, Microsoft still had not negotiated an deal at that time with Steam to sell MSFS 2020.

As mentioned in my original post, I am buying the Aviator edition at $160.89 US. That is a little more than $1.28 US, per plane. Although, I own some of them.

Currency is AED which has a fixed exchange rate with USD (3.67 AED/USD) So 800 AED are 218 USD.

I bought my MSFS2020 Premium Deluxe Licence from CDKeys shortly after launch and it has always been fine, so I would not have an issue using them for MSFS2024.

CD Keys is a grey market vendor. Basically they acquire keys in bulk in several ways, some more legitimate than others, but most frowned upon by Steam.

Basically, you should not have issues, but you have no protection. If steam one day decides to crack down on this, you're on your own.
