Having upper level cirrus clouds in live weather makes such a difference. And the lighting is just amazing.

Interesting that the built-in check lists have levels, Standard, Advanced, and Expert:

Yes, that's probably the best aircraft in the air, take off, landing and on the ground handling, I've ever felt since I started flight simming.

First impressions are (yes aware its an old build and tech alpha):

Pros:

• Lighting looks much better and so do the clouds 
• The feeling and flying of the aircraft are probably the BEST I have felt, you can feel the wind the air the aircraft have weight. 
• Ground handling is extremely well done, now the aircraft feel like they are heavy, like they have some weight on the ground, and actions have consequences, if you do not apply correct aileron or rudder inputs into the wind, it will lift up your wing.  
• Rain effects and atmosphere look much much better 
• Ground textures and markings etc look much higher resolution ( cant wait for access to the SDK to see what possibilities are there, it looks like a game changer) 
• Tree variety, not only will this be a great high tubeliner sim, but probably one of the best low GA flying one too. 

Cons: 

• Ship traffic was a mess around Sydney Harbor 
• Night lighting, while better than before, is still a mess. It looks great in certain conditions (weather etc) and situations, but as you get higher looks terrible.
• Night lighting again, you can see the stars and milkyway above Sydney with extreme light pollution 
• Grass was missing and the ground didnt get much better as I got close to it? I'm talking just random bush areas seemed to have same quality of textures as 2020, didnt see this 4000x procedural texture feature (might be because of the alpha build not included)

As you can see, first three are good, but last shot looks bad. 

yep, terrain is very blurry everywhere, I supose it is becouse we havent all data access yet

I find the ability to see every star at night excessive more so in urban centers, I guess they did not apply the candlelight formulas to stars....

Night lighting is bugged for me, I see stripes on the ground.

I got the email. And installed the insider app. I can't install msfs2024. I don't know how to do that. Nothing is working. Keep in mind my 2020 was the Steam version that does not use this Xbox Store app which keeps needing system restarts and giving incomplete and inaccurate directions to get things done. It will probably take me 2 hours just to learn how to download 2024.

"Can't install this app through the Microsoft Store." Anybody else getting this error?

After clicking on install 10 times a 2 system reboots, it is now at last downloading. To I say: Praise Steam! (for not being so cranky like this).

The EFB moving map tracks the flight path but the airplane icon isn't centered on the route. The flight plan on the EFB takes a bit getting used to. Couldn't find a way to just see my flight plan as text with TOC and/or TOD and with any ALT restrictions, ect.

Yes, just keep trying. I got that message 10 or 12 times, rebooted system and at last it started downloading. I think the message really means there is too many ahead of you in line and you have to keep trying.

Had to install latest Nvidia drivers and reboot several times now its working.

And the download is only 10 GB will take very little time to DL.
