In the controls menu, what I done was have my sensitivities at sensitivities at -0.8 and outdeadzone and 0.6. But adjust it to your controllers liking, the outdeadzone is the one that done it for me. 

@Fielder seen your post after I posted, but try the outdeadzone setting, thats what helped me, 0.6 is what I have mine set at.

I tried to adjust. No adjustment I tried reflect my liking or how real airplane behave 

They ought to go back to the 2020 controller settings and gui. They looked clunky, but they worked, you could do assignments and hand fly the plane.

OK I restarted sim and finally controls start behaving as expected. I loaded free flight in 172 . Whatever glitch was before it seems working now. I setup basic controls . Now I can test FM in 172. It feels much better now.

To those like me who never got any email: if you download the Xbox insider application, you can go to the MSFS 2024 Tech demo and join from there... no need to get the invite.

You'll have to be patient and click "refresh" lots of times until it shows the game... but it definitely works after a few clicks. Hope this helps anyone who wants to try this.

Ah yes, I encountered something like that as well. Right after I set my axis, a slight pull on the stick would turn the yoke all the way to the right in the plane. Once I restarted the flight, the movement was 1:1.

Thank you. Looks like if you want 2024, then you can have 2024.

My rudder was not working because there is no "select axis" box. Only a search by input box. And deadzones default to  0. So when I pushed the pedal it read both pedal and brake and assigned to both. There was no way to know that it had did so. I removed this conflict and now the rudder moves.

Display graphics: Very poor wherever there is photogrametry (e.g. EGLC). First it looks like a cartoon, but a few seconds later the scenery loads, fly 10 more seconds and back to a cartoon, etc. The program is waiting for data from the cloud to display the graphics.  My ISP provides over 300 Mbps. This problem does not occur in areas where there is no photogrammetry.

Yeah, I have 1Gbps but it’s photogrammetry is very slow loading.

OTOH, the cirrus in live weather are really good.

Wow, you like how the 172 flies in MSFS 2024? Is the 172's flight model in 2024 even better than 2020?

I got the invite...found what I was supposed to do in the XBox app but when I click "Show In Store" it just says "The Thing you are looking for is not here".  What am I doing wrong?

As far as I know my XBox account and the MIcrosoft Store account are the same.

Same here. 

Suggest turning off "white dot cursor" and closing online multiplayer traffic. They both default to ON.

I had to keep trying over 10 times to get the "not here" notice to go away and get the download. I think its because servers are busy.
