November 8, 20241 yr https://forum.inibuilds.com/topic/23967-inibuilds-product-strategy-plans-for-microsoft-flight-simulator-2024/ No free upgrades for 2024. upgrade fee for 2020 owners, upgrade price depends on the product Edited November 8, 20241 yr by Tuskin38
November 8, 20241 yr One thing, while not an upgrade, they will release a compatible version of the a300 for folks who don't care about the 24 bells and whistles. For the iniBuilds A300-600R Airliner, two versions will be available; Compatible and Premium. The Compatible version will simply work in MSFS 2024, and will be available for customers who purchased the product in MSFS 2020.
November 8, 20241 yr Author Ah yes, they will make sure some of their 2020 products will work via backwards compatibility edit: Actually, one product is getting a free upgrade, the T-33 Edited November 8, 20241 yr by Tuskin38
November 8, 20241 yr Anyone guess the new international airport? Lee Lee H i9 13900KF 64GB Ram 24GB RTX 4090
November 8, 20241 yr Thank you for posting the link. That strikes me as a well-thought out and reasonable upgrade path. I hope other developers follow with such clear guidance. MSFS 2024. Primary Planes: Black Square TBM850, Duke, Baron, Caravan; A2A Comanche; FSReborn Phenom; Fexix A321; PMDG 737-7, 777: Utilities: Active Sky (Passive Mode); BATC, FSLTL.
November 8, 20241 yr Author They’re still aiming for the A350 to release this year, but there’s a possibility it could be delayed a few months. either way in December they’ll be showing it off

November 8, 20241 yr By and large, I'm fine with it. Give me a version for free I can at least fly the plane. Charge me if I want the bells and whistles that go with 2024. I expect I won't be internally consistent on what I pay for an upgrade and which I say farewell too.
November 8, 20241 yr Hopefully the a300 will have working wipers 5800X3D, 4090FE, 64GB DDR4 3600C16, Gigabyte X570S MB, EVO 970 M.2's, Alienware 3821DW and 2 22" monitors, Corsair RM1000x PSU, 360MM MSI MEG, MFG Crosswind, T16000M Stick, Boeing TCA Yoke/Throttle, Skalarki MCDU and FCU, Logitech Radio Panel/Switch Panel, Spad.Next

November 8, 20241 yr Of course, when they announce a fee structure after MS tells us that seems unlikely, that's concerning, but it looks like the 2024 A300 update is only going to be $14ish? If so that's totally reasonable and fine. No problem, in fact.
November 8, 20241 yr One thing that isn’t clear to me is FAOR. I’m pretty sure when I purchased it they mentioned it would have a free upgrade to MS2024, but they mention it’s a premium scenery on their post. Maybe I’m misunderstanding something? Anthony Milner
November 8, 20241 yr Glad IniBuilds spilled the beans, now if other developers would do so... Btw, this includes Microsoft...info on Airplanes but nothing on Enhanced Airports except JFK and Aspen. Darryl Edited November 8, 20241 yr by SP2472
November 8, 20241 yr I feel £9 for the upgrade to all singing and dancing A300 (If you had the 2020) version is a fair price to include all the new features of 2024. I also think it's great that Inibuilds have laid out their plans going forward. I hope others do the same.
