December 3, 20241 yr Can confirm career mode is now broken (and it would appear so for many others). Not even sure you can call it a patch when it breaks something that was previously working. Let’s hope for better things next week but if this is the quality of patches we’re due to get I don’t hold out much hope. also, why was Tobii eye tracker a prioritised bug to fix when there are a gazillion other things that should have probably ranked higher? I’m starting to lose confidence here.

December 3, 20241 yr I could laugh here, as I said it will take at least half a year if not a whole year until this flight simulator is halfway usable, I feel sorry for the people who have already deleted MSFS2020. Unfortunately this happened a lot with MSFS2020 where they'd fix one thing only to break something else, it became a bit of a meme over the years. Quality Control is not their strong point, so expect some rough rides with patches going forward. December 3, 20241 yr Helicopters are still bouncing around uncontrollably at the start of career missions, causing them to fail before they even begin due to the helicopter being destroyed. This makes the career mode with helicopters completely unplayable, even after all this time. It's incredibly frustrating that such a critical issue remains unresolved, effectively locking out an entire segment of gameplay. This is unacceptable for a game of this scope and price. December 3, 20241 yr Hi, What was supposed to fix this fix? I've flown this morning, and I wasn't noticed any change. Some examples: Blurry ground textures. Low FPS performance, but very hot temperatures (CPU). C172 Basic not working. Planes that start moving after the brake was applied completely. AP working intermittently (not following the flight path). F2 key to reverse engine not working. No marshallers. No pushback correct function. Difficult to adjust the sensibility of some controls (brakes). Impossibility of doing the walkaround (can't remove pitot cover, wheel chocks, etc.). Enormous quantity of trees (very big ones, by the way). Washed out sceneries in some places... and so on, and so on... Any hint? Cheers
December 3, 20241 yr The one annoying thing I want fixed wasn’t in this patch. Basically if I have FSHUD and or GSX started prior to selecting my plane/airport and hitting fly now the sim will never load so I can fly. I will have to end process and relaunch the sim. If those programs arnt running when I hit fly now the sim loads in just fine. I felt like my load up of the sim was a bit faster and all the jetways weren’t 100 feet above the ground, but that’s it.

December 3, 20241 yr @MikeyOnTheFlightDeck My FS2024 install must be broken because my Career mode still works fine, passed a new specialization and everything since the update. But if it's any consolation, Tobii still doesn't seem to actually do anything - it just doesn't cause a CTD when you go and poke around in the settings trying to find out why it doesn't work. @LexLandau My helos are staying put on the ground just fine at the start of career heli missions - quite payable here. Is your throttle or collective perhaps not calibrated or mapped correctly? "That's what" - She
December 3, 20241 yr Used to be fine. Now it's CTD every single time. Regardless of full screen, career, free flight...
