December 10, 20241 yr Don’t forget the all electric Joby S4 , half helicopter, half executive jet, it’ll go anywhere and do (almost) anything. December 10, 20241 yr Anyone been flying the WT SR22? How's is it? I've been flying it a good amount in 2020 for the past couple of weeks and really enjoying it.
December 10, 20241 yr I've been splitting my time between the COWS DA-42 and the FSR500. Very happy with both.

I can't even get the parking brake to turn off (never had that problem in any other plane). Hopefully the patch fixes some of the default aircraft. ------------------------- Craig from KBUF

Flies pretty well for me in 2024. The lack of torque on full power on the ground (no right rudder requirement) is annoying but seems to affect all light singles in both 20 and 24. December 10, 20241 yr FSR 500 and A2A Comanche work very well so far and will probably continue being my primary rides in v2024. I do really enjoy the way the Optica operates, too, but at those speeds I'd rather a helicopter 🙂 Speaking of helicopters, the built in R66 and Cabri are nice, as well as the Cowan Sim B206, 500. The 222B appears to run well in the one flight I've tried with it. And I haven't tested it extensively, but the Got Friends F4F Wildcat is officially v2024 compatible and is really nice so far. Jeeze we get GOUGED in Canada. Too bad, I've been wanting this plane since it came out.... To be fair, there are mods for the previous version in 2020. Not sure if they'd still work or even work in 2024. The mods were for the DA-40 and the DA-62 in MSFS 2020. The COWS release is a DA-42. And at current exchange rates, it looks like the COWS DA-42 (for which Orbx is charging AU$52.26) would come out to around CDN$47.50 which amounts to a CDN$5 premium over the advertised US$29.99 price on COWS website at current exchange rates. Not completely unreasonable in my opinion. But if someone doesn't want to pay that markup, they could always buy it on the MSFS2020 marketplace. However, I'm not sure if the fixes they've released to make it more compatible with FS2024 have been released on the Marketplace just yet. Edited December 10, 20241 yr by Malaromane
December 10, 20241 yr Author Keep an eye out for holiday sales in the next few weeks as well. I think I picked up the COWS DA42 for $20 US on sale in the past. Anyway, thanks to everyone for the recommendations and keep them coming. Edited December 10, 20241 yr by kerosene31 ------------------------- Craig from KBUF

December 10, 20241 yr I can confirm the Comanche is great in 2024. And their stolen walkround system still works too. Of the 2024 natives I've tried, the GF Zllin Norden is good fun, and it's available in career mode. Landing at 30 knots with fowler and and flaps hanging out feels like a stroll in the park. I'm looking for suggestions for decent steam gauge options though. After more time than I would like in the C172 career missions, I am heartily sick of all that Garmin glass. I get enough of that from my watch.
