December 22, 20241 yr I’ve really enjoyed the map enhancement mod in 2020. I’ve not been convinced I need to use it in 2024. The new terrain mesh is outstanding and I really don’t think I want to interfere with that so far.

Fully correct and as I said the "Enhancement" isn't one in my FS2024 - BUT: The bing data is (at least in southern Germany/north Switzerland) awfully old - judged from my real-life POVs (at least) 6-8 years. The Enhancement Mod outperforms stock data in this regard. Neverless: It's in my (crowded...😜) FS2024 holding pattern. But I'm not usually using it - I think default Bing Maps are quite good in EU and NA 7950X3D | RTX 4090 | 64GB DDR5

December 23, 20241 yr It did a great job in revitalising 2020, which actually looks like a new sim at times for me. But for a brand new sim that is still getting patched? Not needed or else how would you even know how much better it looks? Buy a used car? Sure let's fix it up with a new paint job. Forked out for a brand new one? No! Leave it be and enjoy the neighbours watching enviously from behind the curtains. The devs on official forums have labeled it as practically 'malicious' btw. Russell Gough SE London

The IKEA store near YSCB here in Canberra is shown as just a collection of earthworks, but it was opened in 2015!
