Having a wonderful plane that sits between the 172 and the Corvalis/SR22 is nothing to scoff at. There’s the DA40 and 62 improvements mods: https://flightsim.to/profile/mrtommymxr Might be worth a try. Edited January 14, 20251 yr by Cpt_Piett 7950X3D | RTX 4090 | 64GB DDR5

Unfortunately the change logs are removed when you download and install the update on ORBX and I can't find anything on Discord. There was a bigger update last week I think, this one was pretty minor. edit - today was just - 'Fixed aileron sensitivity at high speeds'. January 14, 20251 yr This looks interesting! Never operated the IO360 powered DA40 so I might get this one, there are plenty of differences regarding performance according to the spec sheets. I see the stall speed in landing cfg is 6 knots faster in the DA40NG (58 vs 52 knots). Always something. EASA PPL SEPL + NQ / CB-IR in progress MSFS24 | X-Plane 12
January 14, 20251 yr I’d be curious to hear from anyone that buys this and also owns the payware version of the DA-50 in terms of simulation quality. Of course in real life the DA-50 version s bigger and faster. I might have room for one payware Diamond single in my hangar. January 14, 20251 yr I just had a look on the OrbX Direct site and in the App. Both have pages for the plane but the website doesn't have a buy button for it and while the app has an Add to Cart button pressing it just produces a Product not found error. So it isn't available to buy yet, but I would not be surprised if that changes by this time tomorrow. Edited January 14, 20251 yr by Matchstick
January 18, 20251 yr Still no sign of the Da40 release and unfortunately it appears that the price shown in the OrbX Direct app has gone up ~60% from the pricing originally being shown.

Thought I was seeing things lol! Well, looks like a pass for me anyway, now if the price was as before it would have been a for sure!
