Placebo is well and truly alive. That flight around NYC looks no different to any similiar flights done in 2020. If someone says "the trees are better" then you'll know this has all been a complete wa

Thanks for the enthusiasm.  I'm 53 years old and remember walking 2 miles home from school each day in 7th grade to play MS Flight Sim on an IBM PC Jr.  What we have now was impossible just 10 short y

Looks lovely, but so does the pre SU1 version... 🙂

What about registrations.. do they work now?

What about the airplane selection menu... are variants and liveries listed correctly?

What about the dim glass displays in the cockpit, have the local vs zulu time issues been addressed?

No. This is MUCH better. The ground textures and the buildings especially are so much better this is like a new sim. Just fly around a few cities you know well and see. I tried Toronto, New York, Boston, New Delhi and a few more that I know really well, and it was brilliant.

Lots of other fixes, from your list the livery stuff may not be fixed (haven't checked), but the others are done. Check it out for yourself.

Check out the fine detail in that. The CN Tower in the distance. And I'm getting 75 fps +

Just tested with the default C172 and it works now! Also, the GNS units are now the WT versions 👍

Sounds great.  I'm so glad they held off final release until this final round of user testing could occur.  Should make all the difference at launch  🙂

I thought Pre SU1 looked great, but SU1 beta knocks it out the park.

I fully concur with your evaluation, and thank you for the excellent video!

In the 5 min test I did last night, taking off from LPCS (Cascais airfield) I noticed how better the PG looked even at my MEDIUM settings for buildings.

Trully ASTOUNDING !!!

I still want to see how the sim works with the Fenix or PMDG at a big third party airport with BATC, GSX and all the 'bells and whistles.'

Is it normal to have a long initial loading time after participating? (16% in "activating packages")
