April 23, 20251 yr So... I bought this product. To put is pretty short, absolutetly stellar product. For context I fly in VR exclusively. The tutorial was very good at explaining how everything works. The camera adjustment panel in the UI should be studied for how UX friendly it is, it's incredible. The community views is a wonderful addition. The physics cameras is spectacular, I can now get a properly semblance of braking and various different g-forces (I'm still flying so can't comment on landing), for example I was taking off and was swerving off the centreline and using the rudder to get back to centreline and was genuinely immeresed in the g-forces for doing this maybe a bit too intense if anything. Compared to FSRealistic Pro's attempt, this is miles ahead better in terms of physics cam. Though I understand FSR shook the aircraft rather than Chaseplane actually moving the camera. I LOVE being able to map camera assignments to my HOTAS and I think those with a stream deck are going to really love the flexibility of assignment controls. The Cinematic cam is awesome at taking pictures and I tend to just leave it on on longer flights. My only gripe is not being able to use the mouse in external spot camera, you need to use the arrow keys for that. While I can't make use of smart cam as a VR user I'm sure loads of people will find this useful. I was worried that this application would be primarily be useful for video makers but I was so wrong. Some of P42's pricing habits are less than friendly imo, but this product I genuinely have no trouble with paying for. It's just THAT good. Edited April 23, 20251 yr by Lucky38i

April 23, 20251 yr I have been a long term user of ChasePlane for P3D and now setting it up for MSFS2020. It is very intuitive with it setup and bindings, however one thing I'm have a problem with (and I suspect,I really shouldn't be) is the key/button to select 'spot view'. When I select it, it only stays in 'spot view' while the key/button is pressed. Upon release it reverts to whatever the previous view was. How can I get it to stay in 'spot view' after selecting it, please?

April 24, 20251 yr Just purchased and I have watched the tutorial but quick question please. Will it import existing views for planes they are already defined in during setup? It would be nice to not start from scratch on the PMDG planes I already have all of my views defined. Thank you in advance! -Paul Have a Wonderful Day -Paul Solk

April 25, 20251 yr VR question. When you select vr view reset (you must do this at the start of each vr session), are the custom views anchored to this reset point or are they independent? One thing I don’t like about the default camera system is that custom views are anchored to the vr reset point. This effectively means all the custom views can change slightly since your vr reset point can change from session to session. My hope is chaseplane custom views are fixed regardless of how I set my vr reset point. Hope this makes sense to someone. A quick example of this is to turn your head 90 degrees to one side and hit vr view reset. Now you’ll find all of your custom views are also rotated 90 degrees.
