May 7, 20251 yr TBH all I really was after were the Fly-By, Tower views, and the physics piece. Very powerful camera tool but truly that's about all I needed. TBH I would have preferred to keep all the prior default settings (as I have them set up the same in MSFS 2024) and just add Fly-By, Tower and Physics. Me too.... but it does suck you in and then I've got things happning that I cant fathom out how they happened or how to get back to where I was.... ....then add in Flight Control Replay to try and make a little entertaining video for yourself with some Chaseplane views and the whole world explodes and suddenly you are lost in a confusing spiral of 'what just happened' then you need help or tranquilisers..... It's certainly less necessary than it was back with P3D, but I do like the fact you can set more than one view to a key. So for me 4 would look in the direction of the PFD, press is again and zoom right in. Find that kind of handy !!.. G Gary Davies aka "Gazzareth" Simming since 747 on the Acorn Electron
May 7, 20251 yr If things don't go well (usually due to a lack of understanding), is it possible to easily roll back to previous FS 2020 settings?
May 7, 20251 yr Just bought it, I'm loving it. Key features for me: Fly-by camera, the possibility to speed up camera transitions when switching views, Tower Views and closest parking views. Physics customization could get better, had trouble with editing anticipation, etc. Touchdown effect could improve a bit also but overall a top notch add-on for sure. SN737

Trying to get a realistic effect for my 737 Anticipation is a human effect (eg.: pilots view) which will make them anticipate the aircraft movement. What I don't like about this feature is that as I adjust, for example, the pilot's view, precisely at the border of my screen for the heading bug knob, when this effect begins to work it will hide my heading knob on the MCP. Look ahead, I don't have a clue. What I use for now for the 737 is: on the Aircraft Effectsengine/thrust/rotor vibrations to 0.000, speedbrake vibrations to 1.0, AoA vibrations to 0.000 and switched to cero all Human Effects, to prevent what I explained earlier. Okay cool, what do you use for the landing effect and intensity. I find some of the payware airports I go to have really uneven taxiways, so my aircraft is really bouncing all over the place. I'm using a landing effect of 2 and intensity of 1.0

I'm quite happy with this ones. SN737

In that case I'm afraid I will hold off until that works, I could not imagine not being able to use Tobii, it's absolutely essential to my immersion within msfs. Hope you find a solution for that! One of the reasons I won't use 2024 either until that works. Actually I'd like a little clarity around this too. Does this mean you can't/shouldn't try to run both at the same time (I'm fine with that), or does it mean that Chaseplane simply won't work if you have Tobii installed? I had a look around the Parallel 42 site - "known limitations" - but the info is a bit vague. When I first started using Tobii I installed FaceTrack NOIR to be able to hold a view in place while turning off head tracking (works great). I took a chance on the early release of CP, and not sure if it is because of FaceTrack, but all integrated fine for me. I have head tracking, I can lock and release a view w/o issue and it works with Chase Plane just fine. Edited May 11, 20251 yr by Joe L Joe Lorenc
