@Keven Menard I know this is probably an idiotic question, but is the offer for free 2024 upgrade still available? I know it says "Limited time", but when does that expire?

Best regards,

I won’t be commenting more on this because everything will be revealed in due time but… This very “feature” is the first thing we got rid of in this new version of CP. It made my blood boil from day 1

We’ve decided to re-code some parts of the app to work better (things like adding support for all F keys and some more quality of life things). As I said before, CP lives at the bounds of the SDK

More news on release date and pricing early next week 😉

Don't want to cycle thru views I want to hit a programmed button and have that view show, hit the same button again and return to the Pilot view, for all programmed views.  Very simple, but so far not sure it's possible in CP.  In fact I'm fairly sure it's not possible as I mentioned the idea to Keven and he directed me to make a formal suggestion, so I did.

That’s exactly what I have tried to show you. So it is possible. The pilot view is just like any other view that can have multiple shortcuts.

The free upgrade path will become available when we release the 2024 version. They will be separate products. Unknown yet when it will happen and how long the upgrade window will be.

Fair enough. But the upgrade window is still active? Or is it active, as long as it's written on your webpage? 🙂
If it's still active, I'll purchase it straight away.

That upgrade window is not active since there is no 2024 version available yet. The free upgrade window for all existing users starts when the 2024 version becomes available. We'll probably have it up for a many months to give enough time for everyone to grab it. That will be announced when we release the 2024 version.

I still don't follow what you're saying.  Can you describe exactly how to do the example I gave?  Hit button X and Pilot view shows.  Hit button Y and CoPilot shows.  Hit button Y again, and Pilot shows.  Thanks

Anyone else stuck in a loop with CP trying to download a .net application and the CP bridge not running with the latest update?

There's a post about something similar on their Discord with a possible application fix for people to download.  It's on the post called "Bridge Module Not Working".

At the expo they announced they already have a 2024 build, it just needs some polish. Sounded like it was coming soon.

Personally can’t wait.

Oh that's great news, now with iFly's MAX 8 in msfs 2024 the only add-on I really miss is chaseplane. Thanks for the info.

Well that is good news.  Chaseplane in 2024 and a general release of SU3 would just about get me over the line for a 2024 install.  I have had the upgraded hardware for 6 months.

Bruce, with default cameras in 2020 if I click an assigned button to for example to change to co-pilot view, and click that same button again, it will revert back to the view I was previously at.  I've not figured out how to do that in ChasePlane and I like that feature.  ??

It's one of the many, many requests that Keven a while back said he might look at. The operative word being might.

That’s in the FSExpo update (I probably forgot to put it in the change log)
