January 31, 20251 yr I don't have the hardware to do TAA with auto fps... when I tried from time to time. 5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel. Hmm 4070 is a good card - I'm running a Samsung 48" OLED tv just fine full 4k - just washed overall look of sim - might take a fps hit and revisit reshade Geforce overlay is terrible just accents sims washed out over blown graphics Rich Sennett
January 31, 20251 yr And just think ... when a new Nvidia driver comes out you get to do this all over again. Well most of it anyway. Just the fun stuff. -J 13700KF | RTX 4090 @ 1440 | 64GB DDR5 | 2 x 1TB SSDs | 1TB M.2 NVMe
January 31, 20251 yr Commercial Member I'm a bit confused with everything going on... I updated my drivers and the NVIDIA app and this is what I see now. I am using DLSS Override in the NVIDIA app but in the DLSS Swapper, it still shows I'm using outdated DLSS and FG... What am I missing... I'm lost. Thanks! I have a 4070 as well and it's silky smooth in MSFS2020 (don't have 2024 as of yet). My question is, does MSFS2024 solve the blurry gauge issue? Because I still have that in MSFS2020.

January 31, 20251 yr I tried my standard flight in 2024 EGLC to EGLL using TAA. fps from about 58 to 79. With DLSS it was 74 to 95. For kicks, I turned on Loss Scaling as well as native FG in TAA. It got me 120 with about 47 native but it froze right after I landed and had to use task manager to exit 2024. DLSS is just a lot easier for me at any scenery or airport. The screens look better in DLSS with these new Nvidia drivers. TAA still looks best. I'll stick with DLSS. 5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel. January 31, 20251 yr I'm on DLSS4 and the new driver now with MSFS2024, looks nice and good performance - but still severe ghosting in the PFD in Fenix..! Am I alone with this?

January 31, 20251 yr Sore subject but AVSIM should have separate 2020 and 2024 sim forums this is really confusing Rich Sennett

But as topics develop and grow, other members are not adhering. That should be a wake up call for the need to separate. It is not about "Virginia". To the contrary, there is enough overlap to justify the "no Virginia" decision. Instead, it turned out to be even more complicated than using the pre-release driver and DLSS4. At least then, preset J was called preset J and not some obscure numbers. I’m tempted to just stay on the pre-release driver (which works really well) until a less arduous way of doing things presents itself. 7950X3D | RTX 4090 | 64GB DDR5
