Aerosoft CRJ V2 released

Man that's a hefty update, gonna give her another spin. The aircraft's past aside it's really shaping up to be a joy all around.

Just wanted to add I'm not excusing how Aerosoft tackled this aircraft and they deserve the constructive criticisms of the past behavior, but I am happy that she's in a better state today than previously.

  • Flying my standard test flight right now.  FMS and Tablet far better integration.  Everything seems “snappy and crisp”. All improved from my POV. I’m about 1 hour from approach. I’ll post back after t

  • This is another one I will sit out and wait to see the feedback before diving in...   Unfortunately Aerosoft has let me down so many times I'm reluctant to get anything from them anymore.   Fool me on

  • If you bought the original version, it is very cheap at 0.00 of your currency.

I appreciate the update, howewer the TCAS range was not fixed, in actuality it made it worse. Traffic 5 miles away is showing 2.5 miles, 10 miles away showing 5 etc. At least they have been working on improving the product.

*Edit - Aside from that, it flies beautifully.

You folks who know this plane, at least version 1 in 2020, is it normal in the real aircraft to set elevator trim such that plane rotates essentially on its own?  That was never the case in version 1 but is now the case, following where trim is to be set in Performance page.   I really like this plane and fly it regularly and have since early 2020 and now in 2024.

I have had no CRJ crashes in MSFS 2024 SU2. The SU3 beta is a different matter (for almost all add-on aircraft), but I withdrew from the beta for now.

Did two flights with it and it worked well. Hand flying it is a lot more comfortable and on final, I don't feel like the nose wants to bob up and down. No issues tracking the ILS. With the Boris sounds, I think it makes a great overall product!
