Trying another flight this morning, will see if it repeats... The crj is quite finicky. Some settings on my quadrant and joystick that work on all other ac, such as heading & altitude increase/decrease, don't work at all with the crj. I don't have pedals and just use joystick z axis to steer on ground. I had one conflicting map that caused different problem. Edited April 12, 20251 yr by desbean

April 15, 20251 yr I have almost purchased this a couple of times, but there are just too many reviews showing problems with this add-on. With their history of not fixing aircraft I will stay away. Reviews like this one does not build any confidence in the product at all. I don’t want to doubt the validity of the reviewer but they had 2 issues and both of them can easily be placed as user error. The first was entering a stall at what I guess is cruise, there was no explanation for how they got into stall but I’d guess it was due to not managing the throttle correctly on account of a lack of auto throttle. The ADGs deploying “randomly” could have simply been a misclick, happens to the best of us, I accidentally deployed emergency the emergency gear handle on the F28 on departure, ruined my whole flight. the aircraft not managing turns between close waypoints seems to have been documented as accurate according to a few CRJ pilots. It seems a number of reviewers are reviewing the aircraft as is but haven’t done any previous research into the quirks of the aircraft. Then when experiencing a quirk blame it as a bug or odd behaviour. I’m surprised they didn’t complained about the flaky auto-nav switch on course capture as a bug.

Here's the instructions they sent. Put in your CRJ v1 serial from PCAviator. https://cdnone.aerosoft.com/client/user-guide/en/aerosoft-one-user-interface/activating-an-external-product/ And then avoid PCAviator forever and ever. -J 13700KF | RTX 4090 @ 1440 | 64GB DDR5 | 2 x 1TB SSDs | 1TB M.2 NVMe

I've easily done 20 flights last couple weeks in the 700 and 900 with no errors or issues. I think the biggest problem with the plane is many can't fly it and aren't used to flying without an autothrottle. 5800X3D, 4090FE, 64GB DDR4 3600C16, Gigabyte X570S MB, EVO 970 M.2's, Alienware 3821DW and 2 22" monitors, Corsair RM1000x PSU, 360MM MSI MEG, MFG Crosswind, T16000M Stick, Boeing TCA Yoke/Throttle, Skalarki MCDU and FCU, Logitech Radio Panel/Switch Panel, Spad.Next

April 15, 20251 yr And after the first flight after years, and then some of them more, yes I confirm my initial suspects, the AP GS it is and was very stable and precise, who was not precise and stable was the pilot haha, with throttles.

You can literally have an entire career on the real plane in the time it will take the dev to finally do the aircraft justice 😇.
