Same here, but I also don't see PCAviator showing the CRJ v2 for sale on their site. In fact their site doesn't show much of anything new or recent. I'm wondering if they're starting to go MIA like that Aussie place years ago. I'm hoping Contrail can come to our rescue and allow transfers from Aerosoft and/or Aerosoft products bought from other stores. -J 13700KF | RTX 4090 @ 1440 | 64GB DDR5 | 2 x 1TB SSDs | 1TB M.2 NVMe

They then advised that we who are waiting for MP to update ...to continue to wait. Sorry. -B

April 5, 20251 yr I decided to bite the bullet and re-purchased v2 from Simmarket. For making liveries, I need the full unencrypted version anyway. I found that liveries for v1 do fit on v2, but in order to use them, you need to do some changes in livery config files. If you don't, aircraft will load with invisible interior textures (unflyable, as cockpit will also be invisible). You can fix liveries as follows (replace "YourAirline" with airline name of your texture and "CRJ_700" with CRJ_550/CRJ_900/CRJ_1000 if needed): 1) Community\[livery_folder]\SimObjects\Airplanes\Aerosoft_CRJ_700_YourAirline\model.YourAirline\model.cfg: (do not change anything before "[models]") [models] exterior=..\..\Aerosoft_CRJ_700\model\CRJ700.xml interior=..\..\Aerosoft_CRJ_700\model.interior\CRJ700_Interior.xml 2) Community\[livery_folder]\SimObjects\Airplanes\Aerosoft_CRJ_700_YourAirline\texture.YourAirline\texture.cfg [fltsim] fallback.1=..\..\Aerosoft_CRJ_700\texture fallback.2=..\..\Aerosoft_CRJ_700\texture.base fallback.3=..\..\Aerosoft_CRJ_Common\texture.base Did a few flights and have mixed feelings. Navigation seems to be glitchy, I had it a few times when aircraft would stop following path and start to turn somewhere, including when it captured ILS localizer. Never had anything like this with v1. Also had simulator permanently freeze when I was trying to add a few waypoints inflight. Edited April 5, 20251 yr by j14

April 8, 20251 yr One thing positive is that, it is VR friendly in performance smoothness, much more than others airliners in the market if not the most. Flaws following complex SID-STAR-Approaches in LNAV, that you can "solve" with direct-to or HDG e.g. but really enjoyable, and she is precious the most important haha. In final ILS GS it wasn´t very stable, though I think that was more my fault not giving a stable manual thrust-speed. Hope devs take care of this gem solving its faults.

April 8, 20251 yr After a reinstall I was able to complete a flight without any WASM crashes. Only real issue was the LNAV getting off track once, which I solved with a direct to my next waypoint. It sounds like that may be at least partially a feature from the video posted earlier in this thread? Overall a nice improvement for free and especially with the excellent Boris sound pack it’s something I’ll fly from time to time. However I’m still not sure I like it enough to fly it a lot over my other two excellent regional jets (F28 and Avro RJ) which is really more a testament to how good those two aircraft are. April 8, 20251 yr That’s encouraging. I’m liking this plane a lot other than that. April 8, 20251 yr I'm real surprised. I've owned this plane in p3d and v1 msfs. probably never did more than 2 or 3 flights.
