Aerosoft CRJ V2 released

I don't think it'll be controversial to say that, with a somewhat high degree of certainty, this is likely the final patch.

No, it’s definitely not. There are some additional significant improvements coming (relating to the flight model) which I’m not at liberty to discuss.

Although this initial V2 release does work in 2024, it was compiled using the 2020 SDK. Hans’ next step is to create a 2024-specific version.

  • Flying my standard test flight right now.  FMS and Tablet far better integration.  Everything seems “snappy and crisp”. All improved from my POV. I’m about 1 hour from approach. I’ll post back after t

  • This is another one I will sit out and wait to see the feedback before diving in...   Unfortunately Aerosoft has let me down so many times I'm reluctant to get anything from them anymore.   Fool me on

  • If you bought the original version, it is very cheap at 0.00 of your currency.

well I made it to Dublin ...manually....its like landing a boat!...wobble wobble all over the runway......thats then...time to uninstall it and free up some space!

FWIW, Contrail is a great company. I transferred over KPDX as well as the CRJ. Just had to show proof of purchase from the MS store (screenshot showing you own the product). Transferred over and was able to download within minutes.

Blurry cockpit overhead, similiar to the Maddog MD-80

Looks great to me (way better than the Fenix IMO),  maybe because my porting to MSFS 2024 was free. Will take her out for a swing in the next days and see how she’s doing. Cheers

short hop here from dublin to liverpool, wont hold its altitude or speed....not impressed at all up to now...and believe you me I know what Im doing

I'll take your word that you know what you are doing, but you also know it has no auto-throttle to hold speed correct?

yep Im aware it has no autothrottle ....I bought it when it was released and flew it quite alot before pmdgs 737 was released....to me it doesent fly any different, the EFB is a nice touch though....Im doing the same flight now in ifly 737 max....bloodyhell....its worlds away from aerosofts boat! 😀

I originally bought thru PCAviator and am wondering if I'll receive an update available notice from them.

I got the CRJ through Aerosoft but got their E-170/E-190 through simmarket for some reason, but they all still update through the Aerosoft One app.

Remember when people thought buying things in the MS store was a good idea to keep addons consolidated? Pepperidge Farm remembers.......

I still do buy most of my addons  in the MS Store  for that reason.  I'm  happy to forgo up to a few weeks of lag with updates for the convenience.

Already checked the Aerosoft One app and my Aerosoft US Shop account and the CRJs aren't listed. I'll give PCAviator a few days and submit a ticket if needed.

I got the CRJ-100/200 through Orbx.  The free update is available on Orbx Central.  And you also get the 700/900.

Could somebody tell me if the Boris soundset works for this version? ( i already had it) On the ORBX page, it says "for MSFS2020/2024 and V2 but it seems to be a new version? Thanks. I'm trying to get this info from ORBX but they hasn't replied yet.

Real Deraps

May I strongly recommend anyone who has or contemplating buying the CRJ to watch the yoursimCFI YouTube videos. He's a CRJ-700 pilot and his videos are very helpful.

There is an updated verion on ORBX that works, yes.
