I don't know why the direction in the display don't correspond with the actual direction (sometimes indicates the opposite direction!). AP NAV works correctly. Anyone else? Thanks in advance. Sorry. Forget it! Next flight was perfect! Greetings

TDS published a 750 integration option. https://tdssim.com/ProUpgrade/msfs2024mods If you would rather have only the 750 (no 650) in the panel, contact me for a copy, however be warned that you lose the NAV2 radio which I have not been able to replace.. for that, I have now added the missing FD when the AP is engaged.. July 5, 2025Jul 5 How can I remove the passenger/copilot from the plane? Thanks, Al Edited July 5, 2025Jul 5 by ark
July 5, 2025Jul 5 I slept on this, mainly due to work keeping my sim time limited, but wow... what a nice plane! You can almost feel the rivets and smell that interior, Carenado did a great job. One of the few GA planes that doesn't jerk all over the place when I brake while taxiing (probably my cheap pedals but still...) Super stable and easy to trim like the Just Flight models without needing a stupid amount of rudder to make a coordinated turn. And not sure if anyone else noticed, but when I shut her down and exited the cockpit, I could hear the hot engine creaking as the metal cooled. A nice little detail I haven't seen in any other plane! (It's been a while since I've flown the Commanche so don't remember if it has that effect) On 7/3/2025 at 6:36 AM, Tom Wright said: PA28s with the taper wing are pretty floaty on landing. It's interesting you say this, as the Archer at my old FBO was just the opposite! Pull the power and she sank like a brick. During my checkout the instructor actually recommended keeping in a touch of power if I wanted to grease the landing. Funny how every plane has its own quirks. My first landing in this Carenado model was easier than that old Archer, and usually landings in the sim are the opposite. 5 hours ago, ark said: How can I remove the passenger/copilot from the plane? Do you have the co-pilot enabled in 2024? On the home screen, click your username in the top right corner and go to customize identity. Click co-pilot and then select the empty preset to get rid of the co-pilot for planes that utilize this functionality.

I can't see where to put these modified files in the sim and I don't see the answer in the TDS support forum? As a rule of thumb almost any mods that have a layout.json and manifest.json (if you open the main folder) need to be placed in the Community location. | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |

July 5, 2025Jul 5 How to get the PMS GTN 750 into this PA-28-236 Dakota? I can't figure out this myself.
July 6, 2025Jul 6 Will they ever fix the 150 Kt behavior? I accidently went faster...You Crashed! Don't think so... Not many Carenado updates I know.
July 6, 2025Jul 6 I've found that the standard bindings Parking Brakes On/Off don't work with the Dakota, so tried the sim's C152 as a test, and those bindings still didn't work. The binding Toggle Parking Brakes does work on both planes. I couldn't get those bindings to work in FS2020 either, so I'm curious to know if the problem with the Parking Brakes On/Off bindings is unique to my setup (some kind of conflict), or perhaps is a known issue. Thx Al Edited July 6, 2025Jul 6 by ark

Thx Al What control layout are you using? You may have to set 2020 general aircraft keyboard layout to get those working. | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |

Turns out I did "being over" my FS2020 keyboard layout to FS2024, but I don't understand your point. If in FS2024 I assign and save a key to the binding Parking Brakes On, for example, why does it make any difference what "layout" I'm using? And for that matter, I can't get those bindings to work in FS2020 either. 🙁 Until today I had not tried using those bindings in either sim. If anyone can get those bindings to work in either sim, say with the default C152 just as a test, I'd like to know. Thx, Al Edited July 6, 2025Jul 6 by ark
