Even though it visually moves when you adjust it on a peripheral binding, it won’t register the move unless you move it with your mouse in cockpit view. Tried that, the C182Q has the same issue... 1 hour ago, andym001 said: Just checking, have you removed the intake blanks? I only ask because I ddin't realise they were fitted and couldn't start the engine lol. Oh dear, that must be it, lol! I never did a walkaround, pressed Shift-C to enter the cockpit straight away. I'll check later. Thanks! Cheers, Bert AMD Ryzen 5900X, 32 GB RAM, RTX 3080 Ti, Windows 11 Home 64 bit, MSFS 2024

I just snaffled it. I am actually really liking this bird. I just love the way it looks, and that repaint just makes it even better. It moves better than I expected cross country as well. It's certainly no slouch. EDIT: Just to report I am not seeing the mixture issues that are being reported by others. The mixture lever responds to my Saitek throttle quadrant as expected. I can even lean it out using the EGT gauge. Edited June 29, 2025Jun 29 by bobcat999 Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind). June 29, 2025Jun 29 TDS has a panel to download now that enables their GTNxi to be fitted to the Dakota.

June 30, 2025Jun 30 For old simmers only, there’s one thing that I appreciate with this Carenado Dakota: The full compatibility of the autopilot with my old VRinsight M-Panel (https://www.wilcopub.com/m-panel.html?___store=wfr&___from_store=wen) I can set VS mode and Altitude to capture. I’ve been lazy to figure out how altitude could be sync with other AP in MSFS20/24. HDG works but most of AP doesn't support Altitude set in my m-panel. Vincent B. Check my free MSFS sceneries : https://flightsim.to/profile/vbazillio/trending and my hardware configuration.

Also I sent you a message in Discord. June 30, 2025Jun 30 Some of you must have entered this hobby with msfs 2020 being your first pc based simulator. The offerings we have now that are “default” airplanes are leaps and bounds better than what was ever offered in FS9, FSX and P3d. You guys wouldn’t have lasted a mere day with the older sim platforms. The freeware offerings back then were good but not great. POSKY was a company that made some good freeware birds but even those were a joke after awhile. The flight dynamics weren’t that great the older the company got. That doesn’t sound much different than today. It’s freeware after all. My point is that freeware airplanes were never as good as payware. But for some reason, they are expected to be these days. I don’t get it. FAA: ATP-ME, 737 CA, enough time in the 757/767 to be dangerous 🤠 Matt Kubanda, 7950X3D, 64GB RAM, RTX 5090@4k, MSFS 2024
