This company has a huge flaw and that's the (.KTX2) un resizable 4K textures that makes most GPU's to exceed vram and turns the sim into a stutter fest. I will not buy a single scenery from them if they don't give me a low resolution option for msfs 2024.

LMFO, .ktx2 format is more volatile and better performance than DDS format. FSLAB and Fenix is more eat more VRAM than PMDG 777 (use .KTX2 format)

The VRAM issue is affecting more addon use DDS instead KTX2 format

  • I always find it funny when people chime in with, “I have no issues, everything runs great!” That’s great—for you. But the reality is, there are plenty of users who are not happy with the performance

  • Another one not getting it. So I help you out with it: my performance is fine with the A350. But it performs 20-30% lower than any other plane in my sim. So tell me why I should reduce the settings fo

Exactly. That's exactly it. People complained the A310 (A306?) was falling off the sky, everyone seemed to have issues with that - It never happened to me and i flew (still fly the A306) a LOT. F

A $15 Local Legend is somehow your benchmark...? 🤣

I'll see you that and raise you the quite well regarded iB Airbuses developed for v2024.

'nuff said, indeed.

yeah, you kinda , missed the point. That's ok though. To each their own

I'm talking about sceneries, didn't test aircrafts. My tests determine that .dds 2K textures are by far more beneficial on my modest RTX 4070 with only 12GB of vram than 4K .KTX2 textures, for me this is day and night. Don't really care about aircraft since I only fly iFly max 8 and PMDG 737 (working very nicely in msfs 2024), tested with both and gpu vram increases whether I fly with PMDG iFly or default cessna 152, when using sceneries with .ktx2 4K textures.

I have EGGW, EGLL, LOWI for both, what are the issues?

The issues, I’ve ran into with iniBuilds is:

1.  Their website, after purchase forces me back to iniManager to install (no download).

2.  iniManager - unable to checkout from it, have to use website.

Rob

Same here. Unreal they can’t get the checkout from their own app to work right forcing people to purchase on their website to only punt them back to their app to install.

I think constructive criticism is ok but trolling a developer not fair. Their 350 is a live product and they are constantly working on it to improve it. This thread does not speak for mass customers. How many copies they sold I would say 10's of thousands. What's the percentage of people complaining? Simple math.

OK after reading this thread I will just stick with the 777-3ER by PMDG for now for my long haul flying. Sorry as I know this post did not add much value to this conversation.

Carry on,

I find it troubling that after all this time they are still "fixing" it.  In my opinion, at this point, the A-350 is beyond fixable.  By now, they should be adding features onto it and making it an even more desirable add-on.  People are parsing them for rolling out all these updates but a well build add-on from the start should never need this much troubleshooting and fixes...especially when said updates don't work.

If I purchased another product (a car, appliance, etc.) I would have returned the word not allowed thing.

Installers are more or less the norm for payware now.
Aerosoft, Orbx, SimMarket and Contrail all use one.
Soon you will have nowhere to buy from, if you reject an installer.

100% correct. It's interesting how people become accustomed to and defend a developer who releases a subpar product. Some people are so easily fooled when a developer publishes a glowing review about their product despite many obvious problems. You wonder how people don't realize they bought a beta or early access product, and they actually paid the same as for a finished product. I have to admit it looks nice, but it's just another unfinished and buggy product.

As a previous customer of their X-Plane products all I can say with all truth and honesty is that this sort of thread could not have happened to nicer devs.

Already there, otherwise show me e.g. a thread complaining about A2A products, Black Square products. Also about several scenery designer like Flightbeam or partially FlyTampa, you wont find comparable threads here. Why not? Because they deliver quality...

Avsim is an echo chamber - for example, certain developers will have delays in their products - they get flamed. The developers that the mob like have delays and everyone is understanding.

Seems to be the same contributors most of the time.

Yes, it is understandable if the devs have a record of delivering high quality addons. Come on, it is just fact that always the same devs are criticized, there is no agenda behind, it is simply because they provide sub-par products. End of the discussion.
