As far as performance... my FPS held a constant 117 without budging; HOWEVER, holy micro stutters. Just like was seen in the previews, the micro-stutters for this scenery are pretty intense and that's with a TLOD of 100 on the ground and all static scenery, 3d passengers, etc. removed.

I know you are headed out to work but just a quick question if I may... was the performance you observed with or without AI traffic?
It sounds as though it is without.

I appreciate you posting you first observations.

I have reduced the file for a lot of textures without compromise the visual in this performance update that is coming very soon. For sure will help. Regards, Matteo

They just lost me forever. Orbx can now go pound sand. I would have paid $100 for this but now they’ve lost me as a customer.

I spent a week living in the iconic Rennaisance Hotel at KATL recently. I wondered if that was included in the scenery.

I was amazed and amused when checking out the screen shots on the Orbx website see not only was the hotel present, it actually had an accurate representation of the interior and even an accurate guest room simulation !

As a side note to anyone visiting the real KATL I would like to recommend the Delta museum complete with 747-400 and Pit Boss BBQ near the museum!

Without AI traffic

Gaming rig
Intel i9 13900k - NZXT Kraken Z73 cooler - ASUS Maximus Hero Z790
64GB Trident Z 6400MHz DDR5 - Gigabyte 4090 GAMING OC 24G
10 x 120mm Lian Li UNI fans - Lian Li OD11XL Case - Corsair HX1500i PSU

so far I find it's beautiful. Very well done.

The bad:

-Performance isn't great. Lots of mini stutters.

-Bumpy terrain when trying to taxi in various parts of the airport

-Forgot the little triangular gate number signs on top of the jetways like the airport has in real life.

Even the base scenery has them. I find this important oversight its much harder to find your gate without them

It is always nice to see accurately recreated aircraft at on site museums at those airports that have them. I am extremely disappointed when I see rubbish default assets used for this.

I Have to wonder how much these micro stutters have to do with the lastest 2024 Build more then anything else.

We seem to be getting them all over the place

Agree. I wonder if they were just limited by the number of objects it would require considering all the gates the Airport has. Think they have almost 200 of them.

I got it too. Some micro stutters but I put that down to traffic. I use the in-sim traffic settings with FSLTL’s library.

But it’s highly detailed and knowing it like I do from working there for decades, it’s brilliant.

I would definitely recommend. I even bought one for my best friend in Australia.

Do you have photogrammetry on or off?

I don't have the scenery, but I know some airports are affected by it.

Is there any supplied configurator that can be used to adjust scenery complexity included? I.e. if airline ground objects or roadside objects can be enabled/disabled

Never ate there. I usually ate my own lunch or from the wheel of garbage machines.
