You mean from the screen where you input your departure gate or ramp, the World Map or whatever it's called now? If so, you can continue to remove clouds as was done in SU3 under the Advanced header. December 10, 2025Dec 10 Author Still just as bad this morning. The sim is still usable of course but presents a very different experience than it did pre SU4. 9950X3D - X870E Aorus Master- TUF 5090 OC - 64GB DDR5 - 1500W HXi - Titan 360 RX LCD - 9100 Pro x 2 - LG 45GX950A - HOTAS Warthog with Ava Base
December 10, 2025Dec 10 Author I just managed to capture this when flying the Longitude, looking out of my left window. This might mean something to someone When you switch to external view and back to internal, for a split second you see this - and it then switches to this - Can those who are not having this issue tell me which image they see when looking out of the left window? 9950X3D - X870E Aorus Master- TUF 5090 OC - 64GB DDR5 - 1500W HXi - Titan 360 RX LCD - 9100 Pro x 2 - LG 45GX950A - HOTAS Warthog with Ava Base

I used mouse look to set my viewpoint and then toggled external/internal. The top image clearly has more detail with the labels. I wondered if it was a lod issue and zoomed in with the mouse wheel but I couldn't get the labels to show. I think I see the initial problem people are having around the edges of windows when swapping between internal and external views but in my case if it is happening it is so quick that it doesn't bother me and I can't be sure it is the same thing.
December 10, 2025Dec 10 Author Another example. The delay is obviously long enough for me to capture it - From this - to this - 9950X3D - X870E Aorus Master- TUF 5090 OC - 64GB DDR5 - 1500W HXi - Titan 360 RX LCD - 9100 Pro x 2 - LG 45GX950A - HOTAS Warthog with Ava Base

I don't have the issue maybe a driver issue and I'm using framegen with DLAA... You could at least try with a test and which GPU do you have and driver? Last question resizable bar on or off? André
December 10, 2025Dec 10 Changing drivers, fiddling with bios settings etc is not the answer here folks, it's a regression that needs to be fixed on Asobos side. You'll only go down a rabbit hole wasting your time with no end in sight otherwise. Well in short that allows the CPU to access the full memory of the GPU and has only benefit for those with 16+ GB of VRAM on NVIDIA cards. For those less -16gb of vram with the option disabled in the bios you gain 1.5 gb of vram available for MSFS, which could help you stay out of going over the threshold and arrive in stutter land. I for one have it disabled 😉(RTX4080 16 GB), while it for other games can benefit huge with the option enabled, unfortunately for MSFS it's a different story as always ymmv. The honest truth is that we probably have to wait for SU5 or SU6– or worse that this is how we are able to get good performance so we have to just live with it.
December 10, 2025Dec 10 Author I had great performance with SU3. Best I've ever had. This however, feels like the biggest regression I've ever seen. 9950X3D - X870E Aorus Master- TUF 5090 OC - 64GB DDR5 - 1500W HXi - Titan 360 RX LCD - 9100 Pro x 2 - LG 45GX950A - HOTAS Warthog with Ava Base
