You are not supposed to land a 737 manually with AT on. Disconnect it as soon as you disconnect the AP.

This not quite answer on my question. I have friend who is 737 captain.  His company requires him land manually with hud and auto throttle

  • I visited my son this morning in Newcastle (EGNT - although he doesn't live at the airport 😄). I've had a good 90 minute session with the PMDG 737-800 for MS2024 and here are my thoughts:- P

  • What a stupid organization to find and select the right aircraft+livery. In the MSFS 2024 menu we have now 5 entries for the PMDG 738-800 together with MS/Asobos configure/variant/livery options it is

Well then more to your question:

Did you set a disconnect button or how do you usually disengage the AT?

Definitely not another windbag. It was a very good and reasoned video. Many have been saying for years that the "porting" brings over the same problems again and again. And PMDG ignore it!

Rebuilt from the ground up? Definitely not. And the Legacy Code left in by an earlier developer? "HERE WE TUNE LIKE AMATEURS" sums it all up for me. They are no better than another developer who willingly supplied their software to include spyware. PMDG are a dinosaur and MSFS has moved on.

My question about auto disconnect

Attack the message, not the messenger.

Did you even watch the entire video?  What is he wrong about?  What do you disagree with?

completey foolish unfounded uneducated statement... make your own 737 sim and we will all buy it.... you got customers, now go do it to prove PMDG wrong and all of their supporters.... until then you blow wind.

If you find a bug or an issue for a productt hat you paid for, do you automatically think to make the product yourself? No the normal reaction is to submit a complaint hoping it can be rectified.

The immediate response to tell people making criticisms, to "go and make your own 737" is really annoying and such a cop out answer. These are products that cost money, people are more than fair to criticize and wish for better from the people they are parting money with, it's not a difficult concept, what is wrong with you?

While there's a lot with the video I don't agree with, people who have paid for the product are entirely within their right to make objective criticisms expecting better.

Can you come up with something new. Instead of criticising what people say which are very valid complaints

OK, this has turned into the usual unsavory food fight.  Locked.
