    Oh grow up.

  • Many people mention, how smooth the performance with the Aero A340 is. Even on big airports (main destinations for the 600). I guess the performance was one main reason, they don't use high res text

The guy in that video needs glasses. The difference is quite large in favour of the IniBuilds where texturing is concerned. I immediately noticed it when i loaded the A346, it feels "X-Plane-ish" whil

Value, just like beauty, is in the eye of the beholder.

To me (subjectively), the price is too high for how often I'd fly the A340-600, or even how much I want one, as well as the texture quality I'm seeing.  I figured it would be on the expensive side, as ToLiss aircraft are at the almost $100 range in X-Plane.

Good for them. If people are happy to pay that much for this, then it's win-win for Aerosoft, ToLiss and the buyer.

For me, my excitement level wasn't that high about this aircraft in the first place.  If the quality had been jumping out at me and the price had been lower, I'd have picked it up.  But I'm perfectly happy not buying it 😊  The FFX Piaggio P180 2024 native version has released today - as a free upgrade for 2020 owners, so I'll still have some new plane fun this evening.

Hi Bill, this is Bill (you),

Who are you kidding?   Of course you'll buy it!   You buy every complex release for MSFS, it's part of being a compulsive flight sim addict!   You'll hum-and-hah about it for a while, then just buy it.

I'll bet my last nickel that you'll own it within 2 weeks!

Best post of this thread!

I bought it, my two cents: it's very good! I really like the state saving features, works really well for saving and re-flying approaches. It handles really nicely too, how I imagine a heavy Airbus should feel. Some of the texturing in the cockpit isn't the best - certainly not quite as eye pleasing as the Fenix IMO.

Made a short pattern at KORD. Nothing to complain about. The feature that the Database is updated once you linked Navigraph is nice. Also autosave and loading situation.
Very performance friendly in regards to VRAM and Frames. Very nice. As a X-Plane user it's nice, that it is the same great plane. Only real State Saving would be nice.

You must be imagining things. I heard this is a money grab and the YouTube grifters have pulled the wool over our eyes. My condolences.

😉

Just completed a short hop from EGPF to EGLL to try it out.

Im not an Airbus pilot so I cant comment on the handling but I immedately noticed that the aircraft was reacting to turbulance and the strong winds we have had around EGPF today on take off. More so than the Fenix A320 which is my go to aircraft.

Its an aircraft that for me is both ungainly and elegent at the same time! It looks fantastic. My landing into EGLL in 25kt crosswinds was horrendous. I flared too hard and landed 3 times.

I must be easily pleased as I can see nothing to complain about regarding the textures, certainly in the cockpit area. Youtube may well not being doing it justice with its compression.

The inbuilt replay function puts MS/Asobo to shame. It even resets the control surfaces and instrumenation to their correct state for each point in the replay. I was able to witness my bounced landing over and over again...

For me, well worth the money.

Will buy once Winctrl updates SimAppPro to work with the EFIS/FCU/MCDU/Throttles.

Blackbox711, former 787 Pilot for Lufthansa tested it yesterday on stream, and after landing it, he said: "I bet when you have to land that thing in a 25Knots crosswind in real life you'll be bathed in sweat afterwards."

I have to say I'm really impressed. Sure the EFB will not win any beauty contest for the UI, but what you can do with it is quite impressive. And all the quality of life features, not new to TOLISS aircraft but new to MSFS are a welcome addition. Other developers should take note about that jump ahead and replay functio

I've downloaded and installed it now. I'm trying to activate it in the EFB ("License Key Activation"), but it's telling me "AUTHZ_007: Access denied".

I'm assuming the license key is the serial number that's displayed in Aerosoft One, as well as on the "Downloads" page on aerosoft.com?

Has anyone else encountered this? Does this mean my license key is faulty or that there's an issue with the servers? (I'll also be contacting Aerosoft, but I thought I'd ask here as well.)

 17.2 GB?

It comes with a lot of liveries and custom cabin textures for each operator as well. These will eat up space like nothing.

Is it easy to setup controls and assign the Airbus thrustmaster throttle to operate all 4 engines?

I don’t really mind either way, but if it was straightforward, I’ll buy it later. If it’s more convoluted, I’ll do it on the weekend.
