The WinCTRL MCDU Displaymode still not working, what a shame, that would have been the most important thing for me, and I’m sure it is for the majority of users too.
If they’d been sensible, they would have given the MCDU function top priority; that would certainly have boosted sales figures. What’s more, WinCTRL probably won’t be able to release an update for it if they haven’t sorted this out – I find that extremely negligent !!

You can test this with Mobiflight, which is what I do; I have both profiles set up for the FCU+EFIS and the MCDU.
The FCU+EFIS works very well, but the MCDU doesn’t work in display mode. However, you can click on the Aerosoft MCDU and enlarge it, and the button controls work here too – so when I press a key combination on the WinCTRL MCDU it switches accordingly on the Aerosoft MCDU. That works fine, but you can’t see anything on the WinCTRL MCDU’s display mode, which is obviously rubbish...🤪

Hope this gets fast updated from Aerosoft so WinCTRL can do the Profiles for the SimApp aswell !!

cheers 😉

    Oh grow up.

  • Many people mention, how smooth the performance with the Aero A340 is. Even on big airports (main destinations for the 600). I guess the performance was one main reason, they don't use high res text

The guy in that video needs glasses. The difference is quite large in favour of the IniBuilds where texturing is concerned. I immediately noticed it when i loaded the A346, it feels "X-Plane-ish" whil

I read on the AS Forum this morning from an AS representative that the needed SDK “has been developed” and is being rolling out to HW manufacturers.  We shall see.  Blue skies,

I thought about it and the reason could be: I saved a 'situation' (in the EFB) in a cold and dark state (how I want it to be). And I load that (to be precise, I load the config of that situation only) everytime right after I spawn at a gate. Maybe it is saved in the situation / the config of it. I know that other things (like the state of the doors - 'close, open or auto') are loaded with it too.

That's why I suggested some time ago to make it possible to use a saved situation as standard spawn config.

Sounds like it is what's happening. I'll try that, thanks for the tip!

This is a joke patch:

- Both APL and Neofly still can't detect engine start

- Honeycomb Bravo throttle getting stuck in reverse. I have to use mouse pointer to snap them back. No to say throttle is absolutely crazy sensitive for detents.

- Some part of the cockpit looks like where carved by am axe

This is like a bad beta test. Some parts works ok some absolutely horrible. I remember superb Toliss reputation in XP11 in 2024 its overpriced nothing pumpkin.

The 343 is a pretty incredible aircraft, it’s my favourite in the game right now.  I’m pumped to try the L1011.

Darn it guys.  I bought this because folks said it wasn’t bad.  I was waiting for the first patch before install hoping all the teething issues would be fixed.  Now people are ragging on it.

## 👀  Community recommendation
We are closely monitoring community contributions. While we are working on improving the cockpit lighting, one of you has been quick to respond. If you want a quick fix now, head to [kdfw's work on flightsim.to](https://de.flightsim.to/addon/106288/aerosoft-toliss-a346-light-mod) and download his lighting mod! A big shout-out to KDFW — great work!

I'd be interested to know how much Aerosoft is paying the modder.

After all, he managed to achieve something in a relatively short time for free that they couldn't manage for almost 80 € per aircraft license after months of aggressive advertising.

I find this company's behavior once again utterly outrageous.

First bursting with unsubstantiated megalomania and then failing to deliver – yes, that's how I've known Aerosoft from the very beginning.

Well that is the thing with forums and so. Of course you see problems from some people (and they stick in your mind). Whereas many others are fine. Like me for example. Having no problems with throttles or anything. But I don't use Honeycomb, I have Virpil hardware on board.
So apart from some potential for visual improvement (and maybe some QoL improvements), the  aircraft works flawless for me. It did from the beginning.

I'm in the same boat.  Not saying I regret buying the A346, but after a few flights in it, I found myself wanting to go back and fly the A343.

It would be interesting to me, if you would elaborate the reasons. (No critisism of your choice - just genuinely interested)

-ability to use with all of my home cockpit hardware.
-textures and modeling much nicer on Inibuilds

-more real life operators of the -300

I won't compare as I don't own the A346.

But I was hesitating longuely between the two. Let's say that the 25% discount on the A343 was the decising factor. Quite happy with the A343 so far and mostly for the same reasons as yours.

The A343 feels like a completely different animal, way more immersive, a globally quite better simulation of an Aircraft when everything is concerned.

My guess is that once the model updates come out and they do a proper "nose job" on the 346 plus fix those wings we will see it more as a 346. This and someone actually picking up the paintkit and leveling it up so that good painters can do it justice because i honestly don't believe Aerosoft will do anything to it.

Systems are not bad at all and the aircraft flies really well but there are some issues that either reveal a bad QA prior to release or still some inexperience with MSFS. Coming from X-Plane the latter seems to be acceptable. Still, when some AI traffic insists on breaking the RVSM rules, it's frequent to hear "tra-tra-tra-tra-tra-tra-tra-tra-tra-tra-traffic" until traffic decides to move away, odd RA callouts on departure with slower climbs, etc. My ACARS also frequently detects "engine X shutdown, engine X started" and the same behaviour for beacon and strobe lights. Again, maybe something related to not that much experience with MSFS integration? I dunno, just guessing here.

Let's hope for the best as this lovely beast deserves proper treatment.

Inibuilds, PMDG, Fenix also had their issues here and there, happens to all i guess, let's give them some more time - And i mean Toliss, i don't expect anything good from Aerosoft unfortunately.
