-textures and modeling much nicer on Inibuilds

-more real life operators of the -300

Thanks. Yeah I'm with you (although my hardware works perfect). The real life operators, I don't care much. And as @Nuno Pinto described, some minor issues have to be fixed (together with a visual improvement - which is all in the work). But I still think, this is one of the 'most finished' releases I've seen with MSFS airliners. Remember the state the inibuilds ships came out (A350, A340, etc.).

And finally, since I'm still on 2020, the A346 was my only choice. 🙃(but I think I would have chosen her anyway, I really do like the long necked swan)

    Oh grow up.

  • Many people mention, how smooth the performance with the Aero A340 is. Even on big airports (main destinations for the 600). I guess the performance was one main reason, they don't use high res text

The guy in that video needs glasses. The difference is quite large in favour of the IniBuilds where texturing is concerned. I immediately noticed it when i loaded the A346, it feels "X-Plane-ish" whil

If I understood it correctly, the SDK for hardware vendors was sent out with the release of the first update. So it should be just a matter of a few days, until they (the hardware guys) get the display to work.

Minor issues huh? My throttle got stuck in reverse. I watched numerous videos and how to set them up. Created specific profile for Bravo and 340 and even though it kind worked initially, next flight my throttle stuck again in reverse. I filed the ticket but I haven't heard from support yet.

My hope was that after last patch they at least fix throttle calibration or APL/Neofly issues but no the focuse was on something else. In fact out of all airliner I have PMDG, Inbuild, Fenix, Leonardo Aerosoft/Toliss is the only addon where still can't get throttles to work correctly or use third party flight apps that register standard events.  On official Aerosoft forum there a dozen threads about throttle calibration, but they unanswered and unresolved. Do developers actually aware of those issue? Those are core functionality after all!

I think it's disingenuous to say that this add on just have "minor issues" for  the money the ask. I would agree if that was early release for half price that would be a case. I'm not even going to go to visual problem perhaps that would be a minor issue if everything else was working.

Has anyone had sporadic issues of getting it to load in 2024?

I had a good flight with it yesterday. Today trying to load it in to Madrid it just wouldn't spawn in, stuck forever on the spinning circle World Map screen. Tried 4-5 times to no avail, ended up taking the -300 instead which loaded instantly.

After I updated it, on my next flight it didn’t visually load at all, I was in the sim looking at thin air at the gate.  I did a full reinstall and that got it working again.

Do you lose your saved situations if you reinstall it? I've saved quite a few final approach situations to practice landings and I don't want to lose them!

For me, Aerosoft One said an update was available.  Clicked update, process took between 4-5 min and at end ASO said update failed, please uninstall and reinstall which I did and all worked after that. YMMV. TANSTAAFL. Blue skies,

Actually turned out to be a really enjoyable flight in the Ini A343 instead. Everything very smooth and discovered some new quite cool features I'd not noticed before - like the little 'Telex' message you get in the MCDU when you shutdown on stand, telling you a flight report and landing v/s report etc. That was pretty neat!

I do like the ToLiss/AS, and while I do think that the flight model is probably a little bit better, the Inibuilds -300 for me feels like a better all rounder with a bit more polish, and far superior visual model.

Ini's updating system (part of Ini Manager) is really unreliable.  I logged onto it yesterday and it said there was an update for the A300 Premium.  There was a box on the screen that said "Due to a file name change, you MUST delete your current A300 folder before installing the update".   So I did just that, then ran the update.   The update then missed 100s of files and just installed a partial installation of the plane.

I had to delete all that lot, reset Ini Manager and install the whole thing from scratch.

Really messy.

My comments were related to the Aerosoft A340, though I agree I do sometimes have to delete the compiled WASM files when I update INI products.

Im sorry I’m not sure, I haven’t used saved situations.

Oops, sorry, I see that now!  😊 I guess I was just too keen to moan about the Ini updater 😄

I also did a full reinstall, cause I made GSX passengers available and other custom adjustments for my own use and the Aerosoft installer doesn't like that (when updating). So I have to do a full reinstall everytime. But I had my saved situations still in the system. So all good.

Btw: I tried to delete all the default situations from Toliss, cause I don't need them. Next flight, they were back again. I even deleted the content of the according data folder in the aircraft and the packages/work folder. Next flight, they're back. Somewhere hardcoded, I guess. But I'm pretty sure your custom situations would be lost, when you delete it (by hand).

Thanks for that! I'll give it a go then.
