Bought it (The MP Rocks BTW), Still learning all the new stuff missing from the HJET but had plenty of power to fly out of CYBD.

The Marketplace for UK buyers is always more expensive. The prices we are charged in GBP never equate to the US prices, in terms of exchange rate.

Case in point, the FSW Lear is a whopping £62 on the Marketplace. That is $83. I don't believe the Lear is listed for $83 on the Marketplace in the US?

Hmmm...You're right in a general sense. We've always been ripped off across a whole range of comparable goods from consumer electronics to cars.

However, the marketplace didn't used to be like this. Until recently it was an equal price in £ or $.

It’s always the case with everything.

Although with this particular aircraft I’m honestly feeling a little bad about only paying 40 quid for it, I feel like I’ve just stolen something.

I’ve only scratched a tiny bit of the surface but you can just feel the quality and workmanship that’s been put in. Not even gone anywhere near the FBO, and don’t know how to fly the plane yet, but wow it’s good at any price, but at 40 local tokens of wealth it’s beyond a bargain.

I just hope someone has done the maths on the price and the thinking is more people will buy it at a lower price and it all works out, but as I said I feel kind of bad at the moment like I’m taking advantage.

I’m sure I’ll get over it though 😉

Yes, it’s absolutely superb, best of all my aging eyes can read the displays easily in VR.

Only done a short flight, some XC, low level, a couple of circuits including a low go-around, the handling is sublime, I can hold heading , altitude, and speed all on the nose, it flies like a real plane.

I tried a clean and dirty stalls, brilliant. On one stall I held the stick back and didn’t recover and it slipped into one of the most natural spins I’ve experienced in a Sim. Probably a prohibited manoeuvre, but it was fun.

Lear is, IIRC, around $60-ish in US MP (I upgraded from the 2020 version so i don't exactly remember what I paid).

I wonder if the pricing disparity is due to VAT or something...? (IDK, i'm a Dam* Yankee ;) ).

I paid 44.19€. That includes VAT. Before taxes it would be 37.14€.

Still Microsoft is not correctly applying exchange rates. At the current rate the price should have been 34,32€ without VAT

I wonder why this is even legal.
