  1. They are available in the documentation provided in your docs folder - click on the index file and look in the table of contents. Abnormal and Emergency procedures are reached by clicking on the link to them on Majestic's site. They are not part of the download. DJ
  2. Because ASN doesn't know how to read a .rte format file - it only knows FS/FSX format .pln files. That's because it would have to be aware of every format used in FSX if it accepted non-standard formats from individual developers. If simroutes is down, give SimBrief a try - it exports .rte and .pln formats. David Jones
  3. The program prompts you for admin permissions because it requires them where you have installed it. If you installed in the "program files" or "program files (x86)" directories admin rights are required. DJ
  4. Since the gauge is based on the real Garmin trainer, the only way to keep the nav data up to date is to get a subscription to the Garmin data. DJ
  5. Hi, Make sure it installed properly - check to see that it's in the right directories and remember FSX-SE has a somewhat different directory structure than FSX. Check the Navigraph forum where other users have experienced the same issue. David Jones
  6. This usually happens when you inadvertently have duplicate plans. I did it once and had what looked like bomber formations coming out of Seattle. DJ
  7. I'd get rid of REX weather, but if you must use it, a simple tweak will get it back for you: NOAA changed their URL not long ago so in the rex.exe.config file in the main rex directory you need to set the noaaUrl string to "https://www.aviationweather.gov/metar/cycles/". I prefer ASE as a weather engine since it still gives you access to load GEPro textures from within the application. I use REX to load the sky textures after GEPro does its thing. DJ
  8. Why not go to the GEX support site over at Flight1 and ask the guys who make the product? They are very helpful and will get you going. Go here: http://www.simforums.com/forums/ground-environment-x-series_forum38&SID=283174085a2e63521a9ed7ba268342767013889.html DJ
  9. The Airbus has a complete step-by-step tutorial. Use it. The PMDG aircraft also has a very good tutorial that will get you going if you simply follow through it. Both aircraft have extensive documentation. DJ
  10. That's because the navdata is still the old PSS data and doesn't contain most approaches. DJ
  11. On the default aircraft the CDI is set for NAV or GPS; the NAV setting is tied to VOR 1 by default. When you get a glideslope indication press APPR on the autopilot. DJ
  12. If the airport actually has an ILS, then you are doing something wrong. The ILS frequency goes into NAV 1, the CDI is set to VOR/ILS, and the APPR button on the autopilot is pushed. DJ
  13. Why are you posting this here, rather than in the dedicated PMDG forum just down the page? DJ
  14. So say we all! Thanks for all you've done. DJ
  15. There are 35 pages of repaints for 737 alone, listed in the AVSIM library . . . David Jones
  16. That was Paul Golding's project. He was planning on revising it for FSX, but his modeler (Eric Cantu) dropped out of FS and he really didn't want to start over. Darn shame. He's still around on the Aerosoft forums from time to time. DJ
  17. From old posts on the AOPA forum, he was disgusted with FS and most folks associated with it. I haven't looked in a number of years but he used to hang out over there quite a bit. DJ
  18. In the case of the PSS aircraft, it is mandatory. If the avionics have not been set on in the default flight, you'll have erratic and odd problems. DJ
  19. Hi, Like I say just make sure that you start with the Cessna and make sure that avionics switch is on - once you do that it should be good to go. I had all kinds of weird electrical and avionic issues going on until I figured that out. DJ
  20. Make sure that your default flight begins with the avionics turned on at load time. You can get really odd results with the PSS aircraft if it is not. DJ
  21. There are two arcs, one north and the other south - both are at a mandatory 3100 feet and each has its own IAF waypoint. You can find the official FAA chart on AeroNav. DJ
  22. You do realize that whining about reality in this forum will get you very little. Perhaps complaining in the Flight1 forae would be more productive, but I doubt it. DJ
  23. No, the interface isn't designed that way; it doesn't follow the normal word processing standards that most dialogs use. DJ
