For any of you who are fans of Corporate or private Jets, stop by Manassas Airport, KHEF, in Manassas, Va tomorrow and take a look at row after row of the most expensive corporate and private jets that I have ever seen. They range from the little Honda Jet up through and including the latest Gulfstreams and at least one private 737 BBJ. I have lived near the airport for over 30 years and never before seen such an assemblage. DJ

What was the ID of the VOR in question? It is entirely possible that it has been decommissioned or is out of service for the AIRAC period. David Jones

I have had zero issues with the 1.31 version of the 'bus. Install aircraft, read tutorial, fly tutorial, fly as required. The controls work properly, the views shift properly, and the thing works as designed. DJ

Dreamfleet ceased operation years ago and provide no support for their previous products. You might file a support ticket with Flight1 and see if they can/will modify the wrapper, but I doubt that is the case. DJ

An AIRAC cannot cause a memory leak. Were it so, everyone who uses the T7 would be reporting it. They are not doing so. The airports you mention are all memory hogs and always have been. DJ

They have said so explicitly. They do not support the earlier Airbus models. DJ

Then you better consider diverting to another airport. CAT1 and CATIII are predetermined and can't be arbitrary. If a runway doesn't have a CATIII approach and you need one, you'll have to go elsewhere. DJ

Are you sure it is turbulence and not wake effects? Wake turbulence is grossly overdone in all the AS products. FSUIPC goes a long way toward smoothing some of the more abrupt changes. David Jones

Beginning early in the coming year, the airport charts will have a major enhancement in number - and they already offer a large selection. These are standard Lufthansa (LIDO) data system charts and are very clean and very good. The only caveat is that small airports with no international traffic are poorly represented. The enroute charts are undergoing a major enhancement that will have day/night modes, route marking and annotation and seamless scrolling worldwide, as well as other features. Justin's stuff is as good as ever, and far better than the stock topo. The usual caveats apply regarding airports suddenly appearing on plateaus or in holes. DJ

Disable the FSG mesh and see if it makes a difference. Tropical Sim never fixed this for the FS9 version as I recall. Make sure you have the current version and also make sure you don't have any other AFCADs or other KDCA files in your scenery directory - UT may have installed something and if you ever had the Cloud9 scenery make sure it is all gone. It's been so long I've forgotten what I did, but it works perfectly now. DJ

No worries - that's absolutely not going to happen. PMDG has said, repeatedly, that they are done with the MD-11 in any variation. DJ

Because it is obsolete . . . you can get the FS9 version from Aerosoft. The FSX version in the box is here and there but will cost you an arm and leg. DJ
