    I like your FSLTL settings, but I find the performance with the 737 is rather good. How many FPS do you get at EGLL with either Fenix or the A310 (which are heavier)?

    I'm afraid I don't know: I feel the 737 is a lot smoother than Fenix, but I haven't flown the FBW (or the Headwind A330) since I purchased the 737 in the Marketplace. Maybe others can chime in. I neither know, because my 5600X can't take advantage of this. I expect your 9900K/3080Ti usage will decrease when compared with PMDG/FBW, BUT I'm sure your CPU temperatures will raise a bit. I hope someone else can give a definitive answer. You run MSFS in DX11, right? I'm undecided between DX11 and DX12...

    I see where are you coming from, Noel. I've always felt the FBW lighter. However, this is because I had to offload the Fenix processing to the GPU. I see your 9900K CPU has an integrated GPU (unlike my 5600X). You may offload all the Fenix processing there instead, and you won't be using neither CPU or GPU cycles.

    Maybe multiple assignments for the same button? i.e., do you have, for example, gear down set in both MSFS and FSUIPC7/AAO/Spad.next?

    Free one? FBW A320. Or, if you want a heavy, try the Headwind A330-900. It has the same FBW avionics (and the same $0 price).

    And date digit almost always off: no bigger nuisance than readjusting date and hour every short month. Luckily one of my 3 watches can readjust date independently of time, and another one is a so-called smart one...

    ATC is not ok with me. Not until at least accepts both inHg and hPa depending on the region you're flying, and also region-specific transition altitudes and flight levels. Not just a blanket one-size-fits-all 18000 ft TA and all in inHg. Too bad, because it's the best one I've ever seen regarding callsigns...

    I can pick up any post from 2007, replace FS9 with P3D and FSX with MSFS, paste it here and no one will notice the difference 😝 BUT, I can take a lesson I read back then: not trying to match settings between sims, but appearance first, i.e., make MSFS look like P3D, and (if performance allows) then improve the settings a bit more. I should be doing that* *read spoiler for further details.

    Well, AFAIK, the majority of planes (gliders and maybe rocket planes excluded) have at least one big fan whirring. As real as it gets 😝 Now, seriously, if only MS/Asobo could fix the Travel To function. The only time I tried it (jumping to 1-2 waypoints before TOD), I ended up with my plane buried in the sand, and that was with SU10 or 11 (I don't remember well).

    Somehow I thought it was one of the SCAs (I was fortunate to see one at Houston), but not: it was no other than SOFIA*! Thanks for the head-up! *SOFIA: the 747 SP with a telescope on board. Definitely, one of a kind.

    I landed on 22L twice in August, coming from SCEL and KIAH, and both times we did a big loop NE of JFK. I'm sure this loop is for allowing all NY departing traffic to go through without any big issues.

    The A310 is the least Airbus you may ever find for FS (until someone releases the old A300 B4-200). It's actually closer to the 757 and 767. I mean, it does even have yokes!
