  1. I get the same thing - wasn't sure if it's by design or not or even "ticket worthy" so I've just been putting up with it the few times I go into OC... anybody else got a comment? Lance Smith
  2. Y'all gotta read the manuals - they are, dare I say, as enjoyable and captivating as flying this wonderous aircraft itself (well that might be a slight stretch..but only slight) There's a veratible treasure trove of information, tips, how-to's and just "plane" fascinating nuggets in there. The detailed introduction is as good a place as any to start - just getting my memory refreshed on fsx.cfg necessities was worthwhile as it's been so long since I looked in there and sure enough, somewhere over the years, several pc's and installs later my WideViewAspect setting was incorrect. I personally enjoyed the "How to taxi like a pro" in the flight crew training manual and even discovered through the manual that I could tweak some basic aircraft settings through Ops Center - very useful since I'm at work and can't use RDP to go home and run FSX to tweak some stuff. Even reading about the equipment in the crew rest areas was educational! So, if you're like me and stuck in the office where you can't fly - make the time pass more enjoyably by reading the manuals (whilst appearing like you're doing actual work) I gaurantee you'll find something you didn't know before or get reminded of something you long ago forgot - assuming youtube is blocked by your corporate firewalls so you can't watch these awesome tutorial videos as well. Who knows, maybe an hour spent doing this will avoid having to post something in these forums where you'll receive the customary response from the occasionally intollerable Mr. Care Bears and Pink Daisy's
  3. I dropped you a PM - please reply and I'll see what the issue is and get you hooked up.
  4. At FedExVAC we recognize that people have all types of payware aircraft they want to fly so we let people fly what they want to. About our only restriction on that is fly a prop on a prop route and a jet on a jet route. We're also a fairly large VA with hundreds of active pilots from all over the world which makes for some fun and lively conversations on our forums and teamspeak server. FedExVAC is also a part of the VAFS community of VA's that use that ACARS system where we're currently ranked the number 1 VA out of several hundred there which some of us find especially cool )
  5. Well, that's convenient.. might have to have me one

  8. well, only thing I can do about this.. jump in my NGX and go fly somewhere
  9. I have it and for I think it's great. I have UT2 as well and it presents no issues on my system.
  10. Yup, that's clear to me and frankly that's their right to persue a business model that caters to commercial and military training purposes. As others have also commented the agreement with MS prohibits licensing for the entertainment community. Whatever the case, how LM chooses to market their product is up to them within the constraints that have been set and perhaps the market they are aiming at is exactly what they want to do anyway. We can whine and cry all we want (and perhaps that's an argument not to go after the hobbyist/entertainment user) but well, that's about all we can do about it or just move on and enjoy what we have.
  11. what? no no no.. nothing like that and no negative waves.. geez, ok moving on
  12. I've been using FSBUILD2 and hadn't heard of this one so I downloaded today with the 30 day trial.. wow, that's some pretty good stuff there.. a bit of a chore to setup if you're like me and don't enjoy reading manuals Might have to bite the bullet and get a second monitor just to keep things like that in eyesight
  13. Can't believe there arn't more sushi lovers
  14. Tough question! I have the current -400X and I love it even though the NGX which I also have is a (visually) far superior product. I can only imagine what advances from that standard will make its way into the T7 and the 747 2.0. Personally I'm more excited about 2.0 than the T7 but I'll probably get both. The current 400X is still a great fly, everything works, there's lots to do and damn she just looks and sounds really really good (I splurged on those UHD external textures you can get for her too which look just fantastic) There's no right answer here but if the budget allows for it, get the current Queen - impossible to say when 2.0 will come along, maybe tomorrow, maybe next year sometime so why deprive yourself of some good fun with a great Heavy today ! Oh, PMDG, you can send my comission check to the regular location
  15. I do and I see RNAV 35 with WENIB, KINGZ, FIDUP trans.. is that what you were looking for?
  16. no it's quite obvious, by reading the message backwards and using the first 6 prime numbers to select the words (devs love prime numbers) the message clearly states "airplane our certainly is 777 flying." No disection necessary, we are obviiously in late stage beta and launch is imminent.
  17. I'm not sure.. has it? What about the 777-200IGW or the 777 BCF editions. Pretty sure I read something about a 777-352WTF and a 777-400OMG as well ^_^
