Hi. I like your new Immersion package, looks astonishing, but the main reason I didn't purchased it yet is because I really don't know how many of these effects will really bring Immersion to my cockpit. Does the 3D lighting reflect fog if you are inside the VC?. Or it only works in external view?. Are you planning to add Rain/Snow effects, Hail effects, inside the cockpit? What about sounds, I would really love to have a better sound environment from inside the cockpit. As I'm not a video editor, 99% of my simming time is spent from inside the cabin, so I don't think this is for me unless there are more effects to come. Thanks.

PSU is the heart of the PC, a healthy and stable PSU will reduce chance of circuit degradation due to voltage oscillations (specially on the VGA). I recommend you a 600w to 700 PSU, brand is important, more expensive doesn't mean better. PMDG is paying Flexera for licencing and copy protection (price which adds to those U$D90 that we pay), and it has already been cracked there's no use to that. And thats just one example I could mention thousands of them

900MB at landing, with an average of 1.7 during crz. I'm using FSUIPC to monitor VAS yes, I set the free VAS counter con the FSX window frame, very useful tool indeed. I will try to make some analysis on how VRAM influences VAS usage. Maybe there is a direct relationship between VAS increasing and no VRAM available. Do you know if there is a way to monitor free VRAM with FSUIPC?

Well, completed a flight to LEMD (Aerosoft Barajas X), a very cloudy night 900MB of free VAS, it's a start. I switched all the modules to manual load, so for example I don't have to load the Addon Manager and Coault if I'm not going to use them.

Thanks Jim. Before all the tweaking I had just HighMemFix and Framerate unlimited and locked with radeonPro. FPS weren't as good as I wished so I tested the Bojote's configuration and It worked nicely. I have to say that I only had OOM with the T7, I've made 4 flight's in a row without restarting FSX with the NGX and I was not even near the VAS limit (at least 500MB free). I realized that the Dzwki installer switched my Texture_max_load from 1024 to 4096, I deleted TextureMaxLoad too. My main issue is OOM cos fps-wise FSX runs smooth and with nearly no stuttering.

Hi ppl I'm really frustrated. Fourth consecutive flight that I can't finish. After 2 blackouts in my neighborhood one CTD I was finally on final 08R KMIA (LatinVFR version 2.2, Miami City Dzwki) when my FSX Ommed. At FL360 I had 1.6gb of free VAS (I monitor my free VAS using FSUIPC). At FL100 and 20 miles from KMIA my VAS went down to 1.1GB, fair enough 1GB of allocated textures seems a lot of space left. I did an outbound turn to the west to intercept the ILS08R, free VAS was at 800mb. At 8NM VAS started to go rapidly down from 800 to 500, on short final it went from 300 to 200. I started pausing the sim to see the behavior, 100MB of VAS were added, but 5 seconds after 150MB. 100Ft AGL 120MB left, OOM. So please explain to me how the hell an approach to KMIA can drain 1.1GB of VAS from nowhere?. I tried everything, currently 1024 textures, Autogen Med, Scenery Complexity Dense, I don't use external view, all unused sceneries disabled. But they can make an API-EFB so we can develop our own EFB's, for ex if Avilasoft wants to incorporate his EFB to a "more realistic" environment. Even for ACARS software would be great.

Hi ppl I think I've found a small bug. Try: Approach Checklist, Altimeters -----> reply Set And Checked, the FO will answer "Autobrakes" (returning to the Descent Checklist). If you call for "lets restart the checklist" on the FS2Crew bar you will see "Descend Checklist".

Hi. On the Before Takeoff checklist to the line the PNF calls for "Takeoff memo", when you reply "no blue" the answer always is "are you sure about that?", when the ECAM clearly shows no blue.

I'm currently using SweetFX 1.4 + RadeonPro + HD6870 + Sublime Environment Xtreme preset. http://sfx.thelazy.net/games/preset/330/ I love it, it really gives a whole new look to FSX, BUT (there is always a but), the night is too dark, YES I know it must be dark, but lights are dark too, specially those that don't have enough contrast, example TAXI lights (totally null when SweetFX active), some apron lights, signs, and so on. The issue n1 is taxi lights because I really can't see a damn thing when taxiing. :(. Any easy tip to make lights shine?. I know there is a profile for ENB that uses a very nicely done palette, but I'm hoping to stay with SweetFX I'm really enjoying it. Tips & ideas welcome!.

PPL, issue solved, by default the camera effects where disabled on the A319 (DHM effects), you must click left button over DHM and import/edit there. Thanks for the help anyway. BTW if anyone has a nice rolling vibration effect for the RND mode I would much appreciate if you can share it.

Good to know I'm not the only one. The Aerosoft VC looks like "locked", maybe has something to do with the view system? (I have it disabled but anyway...)

Yes it's all turned off. I deleted all the internal views too, just "Virtual Cockpit" is there. On the PMDG for ex when there is turbulence the aircraft shakes (a lot), the AXE just stays fixed.

Hi ppl. I recently purchased the A319/A318 series. I deleted all the interior cameras and ran the EZDOK config tool. Cameras work ok, but I can't get the effects to work. Random effect works but is useless. The camera is static, doesn't move when I speed up or brake, and on touchdown I don't get any ground effects. This things work ok on the NGX. Here's a video where the ground effect and dynamic movement works.

Okay, fine, no CTDs on my past 4 flights, just 2 BSODs!. The last one was on driver dxgmms.sys, Again no stutters, everything works okay and suddenly CTD or BSOD, and CPU and GPU temp is normal, never over 65°C. Maybe it's the RadeonPro?, no one reported issues before with it. The thing is... Process Monitor is useless because the dumped file gets corrupted. I'm now downloading the WIndows SDK to analyze the BSOD, hope it helps.
