I had to recently re install prepar3d 2.5 due to a hard drive fail. I installed the 737 for p3d but whenever i start it up, it doesn't initialize with the countdown and just stays like this?

ive always wondered, why can i use 4096 texutres in fsx steam edition and get lower vas but cant use them without ooming in p3d?

ive noticed this too. My old AMD R9 280X managed to spit out 3.5-9 gb of vas at klax with default settings. My 980 is now only pulling about 2.9-3.1......

Im getting these weird " underground " white lines under certain parts of road in the terrain. I recently hooked up a second monitor and it only started happening after that. anyone know how I can fix it without disconnecting my other monitor?

usually the repair function on the installer replaces missing files.

physical media is going the way of the dinosaur. its going to be harder and harder to find boxed copies of pc games for under 100 dollars in the next few years. fsx is already a rare gem to find as it is.

that requires alot of funding and is not realistically possible for a niche.

P3D 64 Bit obviously.

I have orbx global and NCA Gold. I compared the fsx version to the p3d and p3D is different than fsx's atc with orbx scenery installed. I also have my traffic x but like i said, i didn't hear any of the enhancements in fsx that i heard in p3d with the addons installed.

for major airports, KSMF is a must.

I have noticed that Prepar3D's atc is alot more " dynamic " aswell than FSX's. Often, ai will tell the controller Good Day, or bye. Really adds alot to the experience.

Im okay with a more zoomed in experience if it will get ride of the jaggies. Ill keep experimenting around with RP and the ingame settings. Thanks for your help.

Sorry for the big pictures, Paint cropping sucks. Anyways, I pretty much copied your settings and kept it running while starting P3D. I loaded the bonanza and when I zoom out to the farthest ( my preferred setting because of the way I sit ) and it seems to be using MSAA, but when i zoom in two clicks ( pressing + 2 times ), It uses Supersampling I think. The gauges become clearer and crisper.

Do I need to keep RP on when using P3D? or does it save automatically.

i have 8xmsaa in p3d, and I think.... I have it set to 8xssaa in rp. All i see is a slider from Multisampling to supersampling. I dont see any numbers in that section.

just did a fresh install of windows and still doesnt work with rp or ccc. Must be a hardware issue my AMD Card. Bummer
