Hello Community! MD-11 is getting attention again! This is good news. it is a show to the makers of this noble aircraft, that they really did something right. Even after so many years of its publication, it is still in good use of the simmer community, including me. I just love that aircraft! I was wondering, where should I write, or from whom could I could request a weather radar integrated into the MD-11 cockpit, like they have in the B737- and B777- series? I am sure that that little extra detail would boost up it's sales, as well as ASN's sales.
Hi Since updating the Active Sky Next to Active Sky 16, the Weather Radar screen only shows the areas with storm clouds (red), but when the sky is clouded, the radar does not show green coverage. Only green spots are very scattered and very tenuous. However the EGPWS works perfectly well showing the height of the terrain by colors (Red, Amber and Green). Do you know what this is? From Flysimware's Facebook page: Flysimware will no longer be integrating Reality's weather radar for future products. We now will be integrating the latest and best radar from MIlviz and Rex Simulations. I suggest buying this add on in the near future as the accuracy is finally arrived.
