Well I had hoped to stay up late enough to see my first European textures last night. About 1:00 am I got too tired and did the unthinkable. I saved the sim and shut down the computer. :( This morning I went for my run and fired up the computer and reloaded the flight. I finally arrived over Northern Scotland and my first impressions are very favorable. I love flying to Europe but I as the textures turned to fall colors it was hard to bear the North American textures against the brown default textures this is fantastic! :(

Scotland- love that area!we found UTX + SceneryTech for the veg LC does a really good job in many places in Scotland. Of course everyone has the option to switch landclass files on/off.And do remember that Fall in the sim is not correct.. the date and time may say

We have had a few reports the airport pads are a bit hard on the eyes at ground zero.. we posted a patch in the GEX forum (top) for people to try which smoothes the pads at ground level but maintain their look in the air.

Well, maybe they will, but my luck always has it that any product I really want for FSX seems to not get done. :( I would love to see a South America set of these in addidtion to a US redo.BTW, these are the best looking set of night textures I have seen yet for a non photographic scenery package. If anything I would love to see the US get at least the same night textures. They are by far much more believable than the US night textures.

The USA will be revisitedWe also have a little more coming than the shared textures for North America GEX Europe installed in a 1.09 USCAN patch we will try to get on the system in the next 30 days. There were a lot of textures for North America replaced when you installed GEX Europe.. and we fixed that nagging autogen tree problem for the most part too which is also something North America gets at the same time with Europe and in the 1.09 patch for those who only use the NA product

Yep and it's just great stuff transformed Europe dessert in to some real stunning stuff, also the southern part is :( Also the night lightning textures are just great :-)Don't walk but run to update your dessert and have a great sense of depth hence the first time I forgot my systems :( Andr

SO? What's the big deal? I bought and installed and took a flight through the Swiss Alps, Germany & France and it was absolutely breathtaking! What did you expect. The work was done by Anthony & NickN (alphabetical order) - we expect it to be perfect. Question. I am a UTX, GEX, USA and Canada customer. Will the 1.09 patch add everything to USA/CAN GEX that I would get for the USA/Can GEX from the GEX Europe? If I don't fly or plan to fly in Europe then is it correct that I would not have a reason to purchase GEX Europe? I do enjoy flying in the Caribbean, Mexico, Central America, and South America and would love to see UTX/GEX enhancements for those areas.Thanks,Lynn

Hi Lynnyes that is correct.There are some shared textures between Europe and North America and we will offer a patch that installs those as a update for USCAN users. We will get to those areas you mentioned.. they are all slated for upgrades.
