I couldn't get it to work with a multi-monitor system as well. I also got the black bars on the main monitor, and the 2 secondary monitors with gauges displayed on them, turned very dark making the gauges imposible to read.Bill
Interesting. I use it with multi monitors with no problem EXCEPT if I use the ALT key to remove the menu in windowed mode, I get black bars - leave the menu alone and the bars are gone.

I'm curious if anyone with Windows 7 has this running successfully? I know NickN has stated that it is a DirectX9 hack and I know that Windows 7 is preloaded with DX11. However, I don't know if this is an application factor (where FSX basically runs as DX9 under backwards compatability) or an OS factor (where Windows 7 users are stuck with DX11). If I don't hear otherwise, I'll get around to trying it myself eventually, but I am working on finishing up my full reinstall before trying new things.

It seems to work fine on my new Win7 system. I'm in the process of setting up FSX all over again on it too, but I did install the bloom effect shortly after I got my "core" FSX up and running the way I wanted it. Going from Vista 64 to Win7 I haven't seen any problems using the bloom effect. I did not change monitors...I'm still using the same TH2G monitor setup I had on my Q9650 on my new i7. I did have to adjust the bloom's ini file for some reason...the effect was a tad darker on my Win7\i7 setup than on my previous computer. But that only took a couple "trial and error" adjustments to get it where I wanted it. It looks and works fine on my new computer with Win7.

I can also confirm that it still works. No problems at all. Luckily. :(

I can't find the original thread with links.Would someone please be kind enough to point me in the right direction? Thanks

Ditto the "WOW!I've had the mod for only a couple days and after reading through the many posts and discussions about 'too dark at night' and 'too light at night' I sat down to find a setting for the only kind of nights I fly - under a full moon, and the recently available (for FSX) High Definition Moon. ENB washes it out (kinda like a night photograph would) but the ground below is visible enough to not run into a mountain. The setting I' working with at the moment...BloomPowerNight=20BloomConstantNight=2BloomCurveNight=0BloomScreenLevelNight=30ScreenLevelNight=1DarkeningAmountNight=-54GammaCurveNight=2ColorSaturationNight=2I want to play with gamma and screen level some more and see if I can get the moon a little less washed out but keep the ground just visible enough to fly safely.A flight time for a full moon 6/27/2010 2AM localSeason=SummerYear=2010Day=178Hours=2Minutes=0Seconds=0If someone has already found a good setting to diminish the moon's brightness (light source), please pass along your settings for night; I don't want to lose this awesome spectacle...Loyd

Hooked since FS4... now flying: FSX Acceleration on Win7/64, Core Duo E8400; GA-EP45-DS3R; GTX 460-768MB; 4G RAM; Freezer 7 Pro

Apologies if I've missed it above - I've only scanned the entire thread rather quickly. The very first thing I noticed with this rather nice looking mod, is that it 'kills' the FPS Limiter mod on my setup :( Once I enable this one, my frame rates bounce all over the place.Anyone else?

Just tried this mod and all I get is a FSX crash right from the splash screen :( In the error report the App name is fsx.exe and ModName unknown.Running Win XP Pro, 4GB Ram, Nvidia 8800GT 512MBAny suggestions, apart from remove the mod :(EDIT: If I enable bloom within FSX settings I just get a black screen but FSX doesn't crash??

How about some screenies cmpbellsjc.

I got the same black lines-using 195.62 drivers. Perhaps just not designed for the newest machines?
Geoff, you might try the 197.45's. There is a thread ongoing in this forum. I just posted a minute ago my findings. You might want to give it a try as many have had success. And you might be right about newer machines, but you never know.RegardsBob G

It's YOUR eyes -pick the one YOU like. They both work- there is no better or worse, it's strictly up to you.
