November 2, 201015 yr I think that sometimes the devleopment team got to realise how much desire there is to fly their product, how many years since a 737 FSX was announced? My opinion is that the post was a little rude, misplaced and misguided. A lot of newbies come onto the forum and ask a release date. This is natural and very common, the staff have never ever answered the question in the way the original poster wants to , so it should not spark such a rage. it should be "un stook" and get on with the discussions about pmdg just my opinion ;).Remember words are just words, there is nothing no one can say on these forums to get the pmdg on our desktops in a shorter period of time, so it shouldnt be such a serious debate :)You really dont think before you post !! Desire hey , 152,000 + posts in general thread alone , shows plenty of desire from the fs community in my humble opinion .Rude , misplaced and misguided hey , read between the lines and you'll probably understand RSR announcement post .As someone quoted the other day " you really are annoying " Malcolm Rouse INTEL X58, CORE I7 920, LOW LATENCY 6G RAM, ANTEC 300 CASE, SAMSUNG SPOINT 1TB, HDD VELOCIRAPTOR 300GB, SAMSUNG S222A - 22X DVD+/-/RW, NOCTUA NH-U12P, ATI RADEON 5870 1024MB, WIN7 64, FSX , TRACKIR 5 , X52 ,SAMSUNG 32" HDTV , 19" TFT.

Seriously people.....grow up. If you don't like something someone says then don't respond to it. Also, to call someone "annoying" over the internets is downright childish. Like I said, I usually don't respond to peoples posts if they don't warrant one but when someone starts calling people names and calling them out in this manner then I'm gonna chime in. YOU should apologize. Its obvious everyone is on edge about this product. Last time I looked at the calendar, we still have TWO months until some IMAGINARY date is passed. Everyone needs to calm down, have a beer and gets some TURBINE PIC time. Because since EVERYONE :( has to have FSX as realistic as possible :( , you all wouldn't be flying a 737 without at least 1500 of TPIC time. And that's the BARE MINIMUMS. If you do have that time, then great. Just sit back and wait for hiring to begin. Because after all, whats real right now is that there is NO movement at all in the airlines. That means that we all gotta stay where we are. Then when the 737 gets released, we all get "the call" and then we all get "hired." How sweet, no interviews, no drug screens, just waiting for "that call." Long story short, Enjoy what you have now, because since realism is what we are all going for; be glad we aren't constantly worrying about when we are going to get furloughed or if we will have to spend the rest of our careers at a regional or if we will ever get a chance to fly a 737. Because that's what real is right now and WE as simmers don't have to worry about that now do we. I don't do childish behavior well as you can see. I also cant stand when people put other people down. Its one thing to call out someone when they have done wrong but to blatantly criticize someone is just wrong in my opinion. November 2, 201015 yr Deadlines are a fact of life, without them people tend to lose focus.I for one have been holding off buying a third party airliner in the hopes that the 737NGX would come out sooner then later. If the chatter here is correct and the release is farther then anticipated then I'm more inclined to buy a competing product. This is why we set deadlines, you raise expectations and create hype so people will plan accordingly and buy your product, and like any other business out there if you don't meet those expectations, you lose. I deal with deadlines everyday, this product should be no different.

November 2, 201015 yr Did people forget how to read between the lines? Most of the previous posts on this thread complain about the new RSR thread being rude and misguided. Not one of you have explained why it's rude and how it offends you. Does nobody realize that you STILL haven't paid PMDG ANYTHING in order for them to even HAVE to release this product. It's their airplane, they made it and they decided to sell it. They are under no obligation whatsoever to give us set deadlines and throw out pictures/videos upon request. It's their idea of marketing, we've all seen it before and at the end of the day, when the product is finally released, everyone forgets about what happened the weeks, months beforehand. Erik L.

November 2, 201015 yr I never really understood the LevelD way of doing things. But today reading these posts it's certainly making much more sense.
