Re: NGX impending release: Are we there yet?

They rushed theirs out and rushed themselves out of business.
No, they just plain lied to people, there is a difference.

Guys, please.I have just spent last night and this morning trawling through the 23 pages thus far in this post looking for updates from the PMDG team.Whilst I am always up for discussions, nothing is gained by posting what can only be described as, in most cases, useless drivel. There are other threads for general discussions and ranting and raving. I eagerly await the NGX release like all of you but so far in this post, no-one has gained anything further about release dates than what was originally posted by Robert.Robert/Ryan, I am sure I speak for the majority of the forum members that purely want updates from you, so, after making an update, would you please lock it so that we can see it at a glance instead of having to wade through countless pages. If anyone feels the need to comment on a latest update, then please start a new post. Pretty big bold statement there. Its a forum. You are supposed to reply the posts. Plus I think 99% if not all updates are on the first page.

And yet again we get to the stage that this topic has now ran its course.I have now resign to the fact I don't really care now, I now amuse myself reading the laughable posts put on by other members.I wonder about the the REAL status of the project, I'm still waiting on the NIGHT shots which were promised months ago :( I just get up some morning in the future and have a pleasant surprise that its released either this 737 or another!Go and enjoy the Easter weekend :( :( I'm glad I'm off for a few days B)

Also if they rushed it out with bugs, the same people complaining about having to wait would be complaining that it has bugs. Watch, after it's release there will be some minor bug and the people who complain about waiting will be posting " WE waited for a buggy aircraft". PMDG has a reputation to uphold. If you have been in business then you know it takes years to get a good reputation and minutes to lose itRegardsRichie walsh
Whatever, I am sure they have had enough time to work through the bugs as they have explained the alpa testing is very tight. They are just wrapping things up as they have said. PMDG has been doing this alot longerthen Air___rs, so don't think you can compare. And whats wrong with a sp after release? Pretty normal to have a few sp's after release...and I dont think ppl would mind and complain...

Lying? Seriously? What's funny is the NGX will be released, you'll probably buy it, you'll definitely enjoy it, and you'll feel pretty silly making such absurd accusations.
Absurd is the announcement COMING SOON since 2006. Absurd was the announcement COMING IN 2010. Absurd is the announcement THE NGX IS LARGELY FINISHED .Largely finished seemed to be the I fly. Thats the fear they have.

Calm down guys... I think we will see this bird really soon (yeah i mean in th next 4-6 weeks)And someone mentioned the pricing some posts before...I think Robert stated that the price might be the same like the MD11 +/- (pls correct me if i'm wrong(: )

+1Yea seriously, no point in getting all worked up here in the final lap? Have you noticed their team is pretty quiet lately, most likely working hard getting in going in beta...so the quietness can be perceived as a good thing...remain positive...Batting%20Eyelashes.gif
