When the real 737 is moving on the ground especially when taxiing the cabin shudders and makes those kind of noises. In the ngx will they have that? Another fine source of information on the NGX (and a multitude of other aircraft) is Smart Cockpit. All the information can be viewed on screen or downloaded as PDF files.

In this day and age I still don't see why anyone would want a box when you can download it, burn it to a cd/dvd and have essentially the same thing. Plus you'll have it immediatly, rahter than waiting for it to be delieverd or driving to a store to buy it. I don't understand the mystique behind having a box to look at or display. I suspect to have it as a collector's item, but that's just a guess.

Or possibly a slow or flaky internet connection.

Quick question..I have noticed in videos of ng's that on the lower eicas screen they can display live video footage of the plane such as the cabin area and the main enterance areaWill any of these be simulated?

Whilst I quite agree Sean, it was a valid question. My internet connection here in Spain is so slow. I don't mind waiting a few days for NGX to download but and here is the big BUT - if I lose my connection, I will have to go through the grief of explaining to PMDG why I have made one purchase and still need another download.I will need to order a boxed DVD and it would be very nice if they could be released within a very short period of the download version being released.Gary Buss

Well some reasons:-Slow internet connection-no creditcard (im 16...) but once aerosoft sells it as box, i will be able to buy it in local stores like the 747 or the MD11 ;)-german manuals (main reason lol)But i agree, downloading it is MUCH easier.

Use a free Download manager that has resume support and you will not have to worry.

No, that's a very recent option on the airplane and it's used solely for cockpit security monitoring - we have a long standing policy here of not modelling anything security related in our products.

Just to clarify, does the download version install an installer and a serial code, and doesn't install the plane itself? Sorry for the silly question I only have purchased boxed....Thanks
