PMDG 737 NGX Approach Checklist, please!

I would if I had to because I know I would get so much, like easy to install liveries, great customer support, realism as close as you can get on a desktop, you get what you pay for. PMDG has nothing to worry about, as n one can touch them. I have been a loyal customer for years.Michael Pare.

Has PMDG ever commented on whether or not they found a way around the FS ground inertia issues? In almost all Flight Sim aircraft (Short of perhaps the F1 ATR) aircraft need 45+% throttle to maintain a 20 knot taxi because the inertia variables in FS are screwy. It would be amazing to know if the team managed to find a way around this hard-coded issue to allow idle taxi in the NGX. There's nothing more immersion breaking than needing to taxi at 45% N1.Now that I recall, this is also a problem in some FAA approved flight sims (such as those by FRASCA) as well. Full throttle just to get moving...
We have and the NGX does it realistically, different weights have different effects :-)Cheers,
Thank you! You get used to taxiing around with some throttle input almost all the time, but it just feels so unreal.I think it's funny how the dev. team is not sharing too much information about the NGX with us. But as soon someone starts to question the team (not saying you're doing that 'WestAir'), the team responds: "Don't worry, we got it!" Big%20Grin.gif

If I understand correctly, PMDG have said the pricing will be competitve to the other 737s on the market. Now the iFly 737 FSX is going to cost $55USD. For those saying $110USD, I believe your wrong - with what PMDG have said, I would be thinking between $50-$65. But I may be wrong (just my opinon).

The most important question is what do we get for whatever PMDG charges. Do we get all versions (600/700/800/900/bbj). I seriously doubt it. In the end we will be paying well over 100$ for all versions and it will be worth it IMHO.

They have put a couple options out there, but have not said anything concrete as to what the release will include. RSR said that will be revealed closer to release time. Granted he has said they were not sure if the maintenance module would make it into the release or a patch (this was some time ago).. Also Ryan mentioned before the BBJ will come later if at all (that is the model I was looking for, but not a deal breaker to not specifically have the layout). I am thinking they will come through in the initial release and have most everything in it. The screenshots and video's are certaintly stunning, so I have little doubt we will be disappointed. Hopefully she made it out to the wider beta team.

:::DISCLAIMER:::::PURE SPECULATION::My problem with an $80 PMDG NGX would be this: From what has been discussed so far, not all models will be available at launch and will likely be released as optional upgrades (This is from what I have gathered so far). That would hypothetically make for one expensive aircraft with addition of these upgrades. Not a gripe, just an opinion. Again, no one has mentioned a price, so take this with a grain of salt...

They're actually going to sell the plane for $15 USD but that'll be dry. Every time you fuel it up there will be a $0.001 per gallon charge.-stefan

Tom posted in the Help with Avsim Forums the following on April 26th, "It is load problem associted with the number of people in the forums. We are working the issue. I just don't know when we will have a fix." Obviously it still is not fixed. I have been getting them today and other days as well. I saw today when I got them and after eventually getting in that there were around 380 users online for all the forums. When this gets released a lot of us will not be able to access the forums due to the shear numbers of people that I am sure will be on here. Shame Avsim cannot fix this issue as of yet.
