Any idea when that announcement will be?My girlfriend is making me do next month's budget with her, and you see....if I don't hear a price this month she'll make me wait until July to buy this.Do you see what you're doing PMDG?!You're affecting my girlfriend's life now! And she doesn't even fly! Oh the humanity....

What's the problem with the price? It should certainly be below 200 dollars which I converted to yen and it's really not expensive. Let's not fus about the price, besides what ever price it is it will be totally worth it

A question for PMDG. Does it still makes sense calling you by the "Precision Manuals Development Group" name? I'm asking because your focus now is on producing high quality airplanes, not manuals anymore, although the manuals you produce for your airplanes are great. Very precise indeed :(.

Matheus-Yes- our name doesn't directly match the mission but as one user pointed out- we started out making manuals, then became known colloquially as "PMDG" by users of this forum.During the nearly 15 years of operations, PMDG has become multiple entities. The entity that most of you know as "PMDG" is actually called PMDG Simulations. This company will sell you the NGX license, manage your customer experience and provide you with technical support. PMDG itself remains the same, but is focused only on product development.There are a few other pieces to the puzzle as well, but they aren't important to what you meant. We won't abandon the original name or the PMDG moniker- as it is our heritage- and we are suitably proud of it.

I didn't know you had "multiple entities". For me PMDG Simulations was the only division of the company. You're larger than I thought you were.That's true. You (PMDG volunteers in general) have built a name for yourself. It's important to recognize this heritage.

having several entities does not necessarily mean to be large. I can found/establish a handful entities within hours. having the split has usually some legal / tax implications and in case of software also IPR. I guess ryan or vin said somewhere there are around 6 team members in pmdg... which is indeed larger than others.

Very simple: Tell her you need a budget of 100 USD: The NGX plus another, absolutely "must have" addon. Then, when you are lucky, you will be below your budget (she will be pleased) or you have something left to buy this "must have" addon (she will not be pleased). :(

It seemed like there were more than that who worked on the NGX. I think that the screenshot that they showed with the flags of PMDG, there were probably more than 6 flags on there.
