PMDG 737 NGX Approach Checklist, please!

Featured Replies

Hey Guys,A quick question. From reading Robert's post, it appears to me that all that's going on now with the NGX is beta testing and sorting out of minor issues plus some stuff to be finalized like pricing etc. Is this correct? Is there any thing else major to be worked on? I've been telling a friend about the NGX as he doesn't read the stuff in here and I keep saying the aircraft will be out very soon, but he claims I've been saying that for months. I haven't realized. Is there anything else to major to be done before the aircraft is released, other than the beta testing?

Hello, first of all: Thank you PMDG for developing such a great add-on and for giving us information that it's already in beta testing. I know these questions were asked a thousand times, but can you please give us the information wich models will be included? Sorry for asking. If you don't wont to answer, you don't have to. It's only a little question of someone who's waiting for your great plane, don't be angry :)
And your name is...??

I have been flying the ifly for the past 12 hrs or so and fully intend on getting thee pmdg ngx when it comes out. One thing I really would like to know is there going to be a 2D pop up of just the MCP? I only fly from the VC but with trackir and ezdok running it has been almost impossible for me to imput anything on MCP, you either have to pull up a full screen 2d view or create a view with ezdok but I find that takes up to many hotkeys on my yoke (you need one for theMCP view and another one to take you back to your pilot view) I love the little pop up you have in your MD11, its simple and does the job without losing the immersion of being in the VC, especially when your being vectored around online.

Matheus-Yes- our name doesn't directly match the mission but as one user pointed out- we started out making manuals, then became known colloquially as "PMDG" by users of this forum.During the nearly 15 years of operations, PMDG has become multiple entities. The entity that most of you know as "PMDG" is actually called PMDG Simulations. This company will sell you the NGX license, manage your customer experience and provide you with technical support. PMDG itself remains the same, but is focused only on product development. There are a few other pieces to the puzzle as well, but they aren't important to what you meant. We won't abandon the original name or the PMDG moniker- as it is our heritage- and we are suitably proud of it.
... and don't forget brand value..... PMDG is now a respected brand in the FS world.Greg

too much, too soon....

I've still got all the original manuals - 747, 757 and 767. They're still useful. You all do great work!DJ

I was just wondering - does this suffer the same problem of other aircraft whereby the engine out glide ratio is in the toilet compared to its real-world counterpart? The MD-82 has a real-life dual-engine out glide ratio of 1:20 whilst the sim only achieves 1:11. As it is, in FS with both engines idle at best glide speed I only get 1:16! Too much drag somewhere (especially between idle and shutdown). :(
No-one able to give me an answer as to how the NGX performs????Best regards,Robin.

Looking forward to this moment :) at the moment i'm a bit nervous because of my bad system... but i am running the MD11 with around 27 fps at the ground so i hope it will work once the NGX is released. I put my trust in you ;)
